First Air Dates Set for Christie Clark and Austin Peck on 'Days of our Lives'

It was announced months ago that Christie Clark and Austin Peck were briefly reprising their roles of Carrie and Austin on Days of our Lives, and now we finally have a return date for the popular duo.

Glamour reports that Clark and Peck will first air on January 11, in scenes with Deidre Hall (Marlena) and Leann Hunley (Anna). The actress says there is a significant chance we may see Austin and Carrie back in Salem.

"I think there’s a huge chance. You know, they’ve never been in Salem without Sami, and it’s a different thing and it would be exciting to experience that. I have a feeling that if Austin and Carrie were in Salem, Sami would not be far behind. I don’t think she could help herself with getting back to Salem. There’s so much to tell as far as [Austin’s] mother issues [and] Carrie’s mother issues. It would be so much fun to explore so many different elements of these characters and maybe have a second child, and just dealing with being a lawyer, a mother. and life."

Clark began playing the role of Carrie in 1986, and has played the role on and off ever since. She was last seen in 2012, when Carrie left Salem with Austin (then Patrick Muldoon). Peck began playing Austin in 1995, and was last seen in the role in 2006.

Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
