In "Book of the Damned," Charlie calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to tell them she found the Book of the Dead which could help remove the Mark of Cain. The Winchesters race to her after she tells them she’s been shot by a man named Jacob Styne (guest star Jeff Branson) who says the book belongs to his family and he won’t rest until he gets it back. Castiel (Misha Collins) and Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) take a road trip to find Castiel’s grace but they hit a couple road bumps along the way. Watch a sneak peek below:

The CW Network has picked up eight of its current series for the 2015-2016 season, it was announced by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW, during the network’s session at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena. In essence, The CW picked up all of the scripted series from its Fall 2014 schedule to next season. “Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience,” said Pedowitz. “By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season’s storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-ups.” The series being ordered for the 2015-2016 season include Arrow (Season 4), Jane The Virgin (Season 2), Reign (Season 3), Supernatural (Season 11), The 100 (Season 3), The Flash (Season 2), The Originals (Season 3) a...

Supernatural matched its season high ratings. The Flash kept up a steady pace last night, with its most watched episode (3.58M) since 10/21, and holding even week to week in A18-34 (1.2/4), M18-34 (1.3/6), and M18-49 (1.6/6). The Flash was #3 in the hour in A18-34, and #4 in A18-49 (1.3/4). At 9 p.m., Supernatural had huge gains week to week, with its most watched episode (2.63M) since 1/28/14, up +21% vs. last week's 200th episode.

The second episode of The Flash kept going at full speed last night, ranking #1 in the hour among men 18-34 (1.5/6), #2 in the hour in adults 18-34 (1.3/5), and #3 in the hour in both adults 18-49 (1.6/5) and in total viewers (4.12 million), according to preliminary Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, October 14, 2014. With increased competition, including an original episode of The Voice on NBC and the American League Championship Series on TBS, The Flash retained better than 80% of its record-setting Live + Same Day premiere ratings, holding 86% in total viewers, 81% in adults 18-34, and 84% of its adults 18-49 rating.

The Flash is the network's third most watched and highest rated series premiere ever in A18-49, behind only The Vampire Diaries and 90210. The Flash was The CW's most watched telecast, of any CW show, since the series premiere of TVD on 9/10/09.

The CW Network presented its 2014-15 broadcast schedule today to advertisers, affiliates and national media at New York City Center in New York City.
