Three time Tony Award-winning actress Bernadette Peters will guest star in an upcoming episode of Bravo Media’s first original scripted series Girlfriends'’ Guide to Divorce , from Universal Cable Productions (UCP). Peters will play Lyla's mother Annie, who comes to town to help her with the kids. Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce , premiering Tuesday, December 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, follows Abby (Lisa Edelstein, House ), whose career and marriage implode in one very public moment and she finds herself turning to her new divorced friends Lyla (Janeane Garofalo, Reality Bites ) and Phoebe (Beau Garrett, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior ) as she navigates life back on the singles scene.
