Lifetime Movie 'Deliverance Creek' Premieres September 13, Stars Lauren Ambrose, Wes Ramsey

Best-selling author Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Safe Haven) makes his television debut as executive producer of the two-hour programming event Deliverance Creek, premiering Saturday, September 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.

From executive producer/writer Melissa Carter (Jane By Design, Little Black Book) and starring Emmy nominee/SAG Award winner Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), Deliverance Creek is a revenge drama centering on a widow and mother of three who is determined to protect her family and land at any cost during the Civil War. Deliverance Creek also stars Wes Ramsey (CSI: Miami, Guiding Light), Yaani King (Mad Men), Caitlin Custer (Teen Wolf), Christopher Backus (Elevator), Riley Smith (90210), Katherine Willis (Friday Night Lights) and Christopher Baker (Sanctum).

Two years into the Civil War, Belle Gatlin Barlowe (Ambrose) faces uncertainty in the life before her as she attempts to defend her family's land by any means necessary. When the corrupt bank that runs their town pushes Belle into becoming an outlaw, the stakes become personal, setting off a chain of events that force her to question whether it's better to be good or to survive.

Lauren Ambrose Joins the Cast of USA Network's International Thriller 'DIG'

Emmy nominated actress Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) has been cast in USA Network's six episode event series DIG, a dramatic thriller from co-creators and executive producers Tim Kring (Heroes) and Gideon Raff (Homeland). She joins previously announced stars Golden Globe nominated actor Jason Isaacs (Awake), Emmy Award-winning actress Anne Heche (Save Me, Another World), Alison Sudol (A Fine Frenzy), Golden Globe Award-winning actress Regina Taylor (The Unit), David Costabile (Breaking Bad) and Tony Award nominee Omar Metwally (Non-Stop).

Ambrose will play Debbie a dedicated follower of evangelist Ted Billingham (Costabile). She spends most of her time looking after fellow disciple 13-year-old Josh (Zen McGrath), but when Josh suddenly disappears, Debbie begins to question the beliefs and choices that have led her to this isolated place.
