'25 Days of Christmas' Begins December 1on ABC Family

ABC Family's "25 Days of Christmas" returns with 25 continuous days of holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family. From December 1 - 25, viewers can ring in the holidays with holiday specials, classic holiday movies, and returning favorites. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016.

This year, "25 Days of Christmas" will feature classic Jim Henson Christmas specials "The Bells of Fraggle Rock" and "Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas," which have been remastered and are returning to television after several years. Additionally, December 13 features a marathon of Disney·Pixar's "Toy Story" films. Also, the network will air "Beyond the Shadows: The Making of Shadowhunters," which gives an inside look at the upcoming saga series.

ABC Family 'Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas' Event Features Disney-Pixar's Beloved Characters

ABC Family gives fans of Woody, Mike and the rest of the Disney·Pixar gang a big dose of the warm fuzzies with its yearly "Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas" programming celebration, airing Sunday, November 22 - Monday, November 30. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016.

The network has a first-class ticket to infinite and beyond and invites you to kick back and relax with an abundance of awesome flicks featuring some of your favorite Disney·Pixar characters. Is there a better way to spend the week around Thanksgiving than procrastinating on all that holiday shopping and just relaxing with some of your all-time top movies? We didn't think so. After all, you're due for a stroll down memory lane; it's been twenty years since you first met Woody, Buzz, Rex and all those loveable toys. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will host a 24/7 holiday-themed lineup, showcasing timeless classics from the award-winning Hallmark Hall of Fame library and a collection of cherished holiday family films during “Gold Crown Christmas,” a holiday extravaganza beginning Friday, July 3 at 2 p.m. ET/PT until Sunday, July 12 at midnight.

Hallmark Channel will host a 24/7 holiday-themed lineup, showcasing the top-rated Christmas favorites, timeless classics, and a rare sneak peek at an upcoming Hallmark Channel Original holiday movie during the 2015 edition of “Christmas Keepsake,” a holiday extravaganza beginning Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. ET/PT until Sunday, July 12 at midnight.

The programming slate will feature the network’s most beloved original holiday movies alongside fan favorites, including last year’s top cable movie of the year, Christmas Under Wraps, Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle, A Royal Christmas, The Nine Lives of Christmas, and many more. The “Christmas Keepsake” event will also feature a summer preview of the all-new Original World Premiere holiday 2015 movie, Family Christmas (wt), starring Lacey Chabert!

ABC Family Hosts End-of-the-Year Programming Event 'That's So Throwback'

ABC Family says goodbye to 2014 with its "That's So Throwback" programming block, featuring Disney Channel classic comedy series Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, Even Stevens, and original movies The Cheetah Girls and Halloweentown. "That's So Throwback" airs Monday, December 29, 2014 through Friday, January 2, 2015, from midnight to 2 a.m. ET/PT.

There is no better time for nostalgia than the end of the year, so why not spend those late nights catching up on the favorite shows of your tween years? Life was simpler when all you had to worry about was whether or not Lizzie was actually going to find Aaron Carter, if Luis beats those mean school bullies at their own game, or if The Cheetah Girls will get their record deal. So instead of reminiscing about your Disney Channel friends or going online to watch clips, hang out with ABC Family and watch the real thing instead.

ION holiday movie A Perfect Christmas List premieres Sunday, December 14 at 9 p.m. ET. The film stars Ellen Hollman (Spartacus), Marion Ross (Happy Days), Aaron Hill (Greek), Beth Broderick (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) and Richard Karn (Home Improvement).

Just two weeks before Christmas, Sara Smith gets a call from home about her grandmother Evie, who has been sent to the hospital. ION holiday movie A Christmas Kiss II premieres Saturday, December 13 at 9 p.m. ET. The film stars Elisabeth Harnois (One Tree Hill) and Adam Mayfield (Days of our Lives). The cast includes Elisabeth Röhm (Stalker), Lola Glaudini, Jonathan Bennett (All My Children), Celesta Hodge and Ray Laska.

At a Christmastime event, Jenna shares an impromptu, unforgettable kiss under the mistletoe with the dashing Cooper Montgomery, a billionaire playboy who recently returned to the city. Although she doesn’t know him, Cooper learns that Jenna works for Cooper’s sister at the designer fashion house founded by their dad. Fearful of getting hurt in another relationship, Jenna vows to resist Cooper’s charms and feigns a romance with her heartbroken next door neighbor. As the two begin spending more time together, Jenna realizes that Cooper’s affection is real, but still worries that he won’t be able to shed his former ways.

Hallmark Channel Original Movie Best Christmas Party Ever premieres on Saturday, December 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The film stars Torrey DeVitto (Pretty Little Liars) and Steve Lund (Bitten), Linda Thorson (The Avengers) and Harmon Walsh (Saving Hope).

With Christmas approaching, young party planner Jennie Stanton (DeVitto) learns that her boss, Petra (Thorson), will be retiring after Christmas and hopes she will be left in charge of Petra's Parties, New York's premiere event planning service. Jennie's hopes fade when Petra's charming and handsome nephew, Nick (Lund), arrives on the scene and Petra announces that he will take over the business. To make matters worse, Jennie and Nick do not get along. When an opportunity to plan a toy store's Christmas Eve party arises, Jennie runs with it, arranging a warm and traditional affair in the same vein as the Christmas parties that inspired her as a child.

Ratings: 'Chasing Life' Christmas Special Hits Series High in Adults 18-34, 'Pretty Little Liars' Wins Young Females for 108th Consecutive Episode

With its Christmas special, "How the A Stole Christmas," Pretty Little Liars ranked as Tuesday's #1 cable TV telecast at 8 o'clock for the 108th-consecutive original telecast in Females 12-34 (1.2 million/2.6 rating) - each telecast since its June 2010 series debut - 60th in Adults 18-34 (878,000/1.3 rating), 67th in Women 18-34 (726,000/2.1 rating) and 71st in Viewers 12-34 (1.4 million/1.5 rating).

Overall, the special stood as Tuesday's #1 scripted TV telecast in Females 12-34 and was the #2 cable TV telecast in Women 18-34 and Viewers 12-34, behind only the series finale of FX's Sons of Anarchy.

With a strong 328,348 tweets, Pretty Little Liars was Tuesday's #2 most tweeted TV series telecast, coming in just behind the series finale of Sons of Anarchy (330,415). Further, a Twitter TV audience of 3.0 million people saw the tweets, which were sent by nearly 118,000 unique authors, generating 13.0 million impressions.

April's grandparents come to visit, and April gets a chemo makeover in an all-new special holiday of ABC Family's hit serial Chasing Life, premiering Tuesday, December 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

In the episode titled "Locks of Love," April’s grandparents (guest stars Ed Asner and Marion Ross) stir up trouble when they pay a visit, and the Carvers celebrate an early family Christmas. The full contents of Leo’s cryptic voicemail are revealed, leading April and Leo to rethink their last goodbye. In an attempt to help her friend cope with the effects of chemo, Beth helps April with a makeover, or two.

When misleading photos are published of security company chief Jessie Rogers purportedly caught in a love nest with his rock star client, his humiliated wife, Noëlle, throws him out of the house and swiftly files for divorce. A year later at the family ski cabin, a Christmastime blizzard snowbounds Jessie, his daughter, ex-mother-in-law, Noëlle and her wealthy suitor, Flynn, who is plotting a surprise wedding.

Hallmark Channel Original Movie Christmas at Cartwright's premieres on Saturday, December 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The film stars Alicia Witt (Justified), Gabriel Hogan (Heartland) and veteran actor Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride), and is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Patricia Heaton.

With the holiday season at hand, single mom Nicky Talbot (Witt) is unemployed and struggling to afford a nice Christmas with her 8-year-old daughter. Hearing that Cartwright's Department Store is hiring temporary holiday help, Nicky rushes in to apply, but is rejected by Senior VP Fiona Aldrich (Gabrielle Miller, Debbie Macomber's Trading Christmas), who considers Nicky a threat to the relationship she hopes to have with Bill (Hogan), a charming and handsome store manager. In a whimsical turn of events, Harry Osbourne (Shawn), claiming to be a consultant from corporate headquarters, encourages Nicky to dress up and begin working as Cartwright's store Santa Claus. With the magical help of Harry, who turns out to be a real-life angel, Nicky keeps the job and despite Fiona's attempts at sabotage, becomes the most popular store Santa Claus in Cartwright's history; however, nobody knows Cartwright's Santa Claus is a woman and Nicky fears she will lose her job if her secret gets out.

In the sequel to last year's popular UP Original Movie Marry Me For Christmas, it's a year after Marci (Williams) and Blair (Riley) declared their love for each other and decided to tie the knot. But as the big day approaches, Marci is so consumed with work that she hasn't had time to plan her wedding. To make matters worse, she may have to team up with former assistant/fake fiancé Adam to win a project she's been vying for – a little tidbit she hasn't shared with Blair. Thanks to years of doing pro bono work for financially-strapped clients, he quickly is running out of cash and might have to accept an offer to work for his longtime nemesis, Marci's manipulative cousin Preston. Naturally, the festivities wouldn't be complete without family, including Marci's Uncle Donald (GregAlan Williams), Aunt Myra (DeEtta West), Aunt Elizabeth (Chrystale Wilson), Charlene (Dawn Halfkenny) and Antonio’s uncle Lawrence Simpson (Kristoff St. John).

Just in time for the holiday season, TV One gifts its viewers with the premiere of Second Chance Christmas on Saturday, December 6 at 8 p.m. ET. A heartwarming story about the importance of family in times of hardship, the two-hour original film starring McKinley Freeman (Hit The Floor), Michael Rainey Jr. (Power) and Robinne Lee (Being Mary Jane), tells the story of a young boy's struggle to accept his stepfather after the untimely and tragic death of his mother.

Hallmark Channel Original Movie Debbie Macomber's Mr. Miracle premieres on Saturday, December 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. AMC Rings in New Year with 'Breaking Bad' and 'The Walking Dead' Marathons

AMC will close out the year with marathons of The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.
AMC is celebrating the holiday season and ringing in the New Year with marathon events all month long. In anticipation of the two-night premiere event of the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul (Sunday, February 8 and Monday, February 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT), AMC will air a marathon of the Emmy Award-winning and critically acclaimed series Breaking Bad. The event kicks off Sunday, December 28 at 10 a.m. ET/PT and continues on Monday, December 29 beginning at 9 a.m. ET/PT, with the first three seasons of Breaking Bad. Immediately following, viewers can catch up on The Walking Dead New Year's marathon, featuring Seasons 1-3 of the #1 show on all of television among the coveted 18-49 demographic. The Walking Dead marathon airs Tuesday, December 30 and Wednesday, December 31 from 9 a.m. until 6 a.m. ET/PT.

Syfy will celebrate the holiday season with the Original Movie Christmas Icetastrophe, a Christmas Day disaster film marathon, and the 20th annual New Year's Eve celebration of Rod Serling's legendary series The Twilight Zone, which will take viewers into a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity.

Among the iconic episodes airing during this year's marathon will be Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, To Serve Man, Time Enough at Last and Eye of the Beholder.
