'Mad Men' Final 7 Episodes Begin Airing April 5

Jon Hamm stars as Don Draper in Mad Men.
AMC drama Mad Men kicks off its final seven episodes on Sunday, April 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Created by Emmy Award winner Matthew Weiner and produced by Lionsgate, Mad Mens' highly anticipated series conclusion will, for the last time, follow the complex lives of Don, Peggy, Roger, Joan, Betty and Pete, and their families, colleagues, rivals and love interests, as their stories come to an end.

“What an incredible journey this has been. I take great pride in what the entire 'Mad Men’ team was able to create episode after episode, season after season,” said Weiner. “We sincerely thank the fans for joining us on this ride and hope it has meant as much to them as it has to us.”

Mad Men is the show that put AMC on the map. Period. It is impossible to overstate the impact it has had on AMC, and I would argue, this era of television,” said Charlie Collier, AMC President. “We are honored to forever be the birthplace and home of this iconic series and we can’t wait to share its artful conclusion with the fans. From the first shot, Matthew, his cast and crew handcrafted something truly distinctive for the screen, the very definition of premium television on basic cable. We will miss the remarkable people, the consistently exquisite program, and of course, the free scotch and cigarettes in our vending machines.”

Madame Tussauds New York Unveils Don Draper Wax Figure

Madame Tussauds New York have immortalized Donald "Don" Draper, of AMC's Emmy Award-winning television series Mad Men, in wax and unveiled the latest addition at the Times Square attraction last week. Golden Globe Award-winner Jon Hamm -- who plays the popular protagonist helped unveil the figure.

Dressed in his classic gray suit, Don Draper's wax figure will reside in a spot-on replica of his office featuring the Mad Men star’s signature items including a hat stand, whiskey and decanter, ads of the era, a 1950s rotary phone, and a blotting pad. Jon Hamm worked closely with a team of 20 Madame Tussauds studio artists who took precise measurements and photographs over the course of four months, ensuring his Don Draper-inspired figure was exceptionally accurate.
