In the middle of their critically acclaimed third years, including an Emmy nomination for Ray Donovan star Liev Schreiber, Showtime has announced that it will pick up both of its hit dramas, Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex for fourth seasons. The announcement was made by David Nevins, President, Showtime Networks Inc. Both series will receive 12 one-hour episodes and will begin production in 2016. "Both Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex are signature series for SHOWTIME," said Nevins. "They are emblematic of what Showtime stands for - quality, premium programming that you cannot find anywhere else on television. We're so proud to continue offering both series across all our platforms."

Katie Holmes will appear in a major guest starring role in the upcoming third season of the hit Showtime drama series Ray Donovan . Holmes will play shrewd and chic businesswoman Paige, the daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (Ian McShane), who enlists Ray’s services. Ray Donovan is the network’s second highest-rated drama series following Homeland , and is currently in production on the third season’s twelve episodes in Los Angeles.

Showtime's Ray Donovan continued its ratings growth this week. The series delivered its highest-rated telecast and best total night ever on Sunday. - Episode 10 of Ray Donovan delivered a series high for the second consecutive week with 1.8 million viewers at 9 p.m., up +10% vs. last week (1.63 million). - Episode 10 outperformed the season two premiere by +47% (vs. 1.2 million) and the season one finale by +28% (1.4 million). - Ray Donovan had its best total night ever with 2.4 million viewers, up +9% vs. last week (2.2 million). The previous highest rated night ever was the show's season one premiere with 2.2 million. - Sunday's total night outperformed the season two premiere night by +35% (1.8 million) and the season one finale night by +14% (vs. 2.1 million). - Season to date, the series is averaging five million viewers per week across platforms.

This past Sunday's episode of Ray Donovan delivered season two's highest ratings yet with 1.5 million viewers at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime, up +10% vs. last week. For the night, the series delivered 1.9 million viewers, also up +10% vs. last week. Season-to-date, Ray Donovan is averaging over five million viewers per week across platforms.

The announcement was made today by David Nevins, President, Showtime Networks Inc. Both series will receive 12 one-hour episode orders, and will begin production in early 2015. "Both Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex are quintessentially Showtime: bold, provocative, premium television with production values at the top of the food chain," says Nevins. Fans will get an inside look on how Ray's (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Liev Schreiber) team pulls off their "fixes," woven directly from the plotlines on screen. The webisodes, titled Behind The Fix , will also feature a special appearance by another of the series' stars, Pooch Hall.
