Scandal and Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes took a fan to task on Twitter Sunday afternoon (October 19), after they pointed out that they didn't appreciate certain parts of her shows.
"The gay scenes in "Scandal' and 'How to Get Away with Murder' are too much," the user writes. "There is no point and they add nothing to the plot."
Like only Shonda can, she fired back a trio of tweets. "There are no GAY scenes. There are scenes with people in them," she replies. "If you are suddenly discovering that Shondaland shows have scenes involving people who are gay, you are LATE TO THE PARTY. If u use the phrase 'gay scenes,' u are not only LATE to the party but also NOT INVITED to the party. Bye Felicia. #oneLOVE"
Shortly after setting the matter straight, Rhimes took her leave from Twitter to go back to the "Grey's Anatomy" script notes she was working on and all was calm once again in Shondaland.

News Brief: Lucy Lawless, 'Friends' Reunion on Kimmel, 'Full House' Reboot, Kathryn Prescott, Shonda Rhimes
* Despite all the pieces heralding this as a golden age of television, the Emmys — or more accurately, those who mounted and attended them — still haven’t gotten over their infatuation with movie stars, or retired their age-old inferiority complex. Not only does this fly in the face of history — movie stars aren’t exactly a new feature of Emmy voting — but it does a general disservice to those who have rightfully garnered praise for their television work.
* Grey's Anatomy and Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes is set to make her acting debut in a fall episode of The Mindy Project.

* Finding Carter star Kathryn Prescott has joined CBS' upcoming miniseries The Dovekeepers, playing a teenaged tomboy named Aziza. Blessed with expert archery skills, Aziza disguises herself in her brother’s armor to join the male warriors of Masada — even managing to fool her lover Amram (played by 90210's Diego Boneta).
* Could a Full House return be in the works? The family sitcom, which aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995, is still a ratings juggernaut via repeats on Nick at Nite. Now Warner Bros. TV is mulling a new take on Full House, with some of the original cast intact. Leading the charge is John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) — who has an ownership stake in the show, which gives him good reason to champion the new series.
* Susan Sarandon's first job in New York? "A soap opera called A World Apart. I think I was about 21. No, wait, actually I did the movie Joe before, as soon as I got to New York. It was so much fun that I decided to be an actor."
* Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow reunite on Jimmy Kimmel for Friends fan-fiction. Watch below:
