General Hospital Executive Producer Frank Valentini and Daytime Emmy winners Anthony Geary, Maura West, Chad Duell and Donna Mills appeared on Monday's episode of ABC's The View, airing live from the Los Angeles set of GH.

For his role as Luke Spencer, Anthony Geary was honored with his eighth Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actor category, making him the most honored actor in Daytime Emmy history, breaking his own record.

Emmy-winner Maura West took home her third Emmy marking her first for the role of General Hospital's Ava Jerome.

Chad Duell took home his first Emmy for the role of Michael Corinthos in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category.

Television veteran Donna Mills was honored with her first Emmy as Outstanding Special Guest Performer category for her portrayal of Madeline Reeves.

After a stir on social media about the General Hospital stars not appearing on CBS' The Talk, the GH segment on The View actually (and surprisingly) turned out to be longer and more interesting than any of the Emmy segments on the rival network's talk show on Monday. In fact, The Talk didn't include anyone from The Bold and the Beautiful, the CBS soap opera which won more Daytime Emmys than any other series this year.

Does 'General Hospital' Star Bryan Craig Want to Lose His Job?

Bryan Craig
If General Hospital star Bryan Craig wants to lose his job, he is off to a good start. Today, Craig took to Twitter to share with General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini that he is seeing a lot of complaints about his storyline.

To be honest, I can't imagine anybody likes this story other than Chad Duell. Duell is taking center stage, while Craig is forced to play opposite GH newcomer Hayley Erin. But is Twitter the proper place to to air your dirty laundry? A direct message (DM) might have been wiser.

If you see a casting call go out soon looking for a hairy chested twenty-something actor, I think it's safe to assume it will be for a Morgan recast!

Kristen Alderson Leaving 'General Hospital' as Kiki Jerome

Kristen Alderson will be leaving General Hospital soon.
Kristen Alderson is leaving ABC soap opera General Hospital and the role of Kiki Jerome, according to Soap Opera Digest, who reports the actress will wrap her run very soon.

The Emmy-winning actress first hit the daytime scene in 1998 at the tender age of 6 as Starr Manning in One Life to Live, a role she played until the popular ABC soap went off the air in January 2012. A month later, Alderson crossed over in character to General Hospital.

In 2013, after a legal dispute between ABC and Prospect Park over the rights to the character, she briefly left GH and returned in a new role, Kiki Jerome.

Chad Duell (Michael), Alderson's real-life boyfriend, tweeted that it was Alderson's decision to leave the soap.

Perhaps someday, when the lawsuit between ABC and Prospect Park is settled, Alderson will return to GH as Starr Manning.

Serial Scoop will keep you posted on Alderson's final airdate.

"Now you're going to talk about God?" Michael asks.

"I'm talking about you honoring A.J.," Sonny tells him, "the same way I thought I was honoring Connie. I get it, I get it, Michael, I understand. So you're going to do what you need to do. Just know that I love you no matter what."

"I wish I could say the same," Michael says, getting closer to pulling the trigger.
