Brytni Sarpy Off Contract at 'General Hospital'

Brytni Sarpy, who created the role of Valerie Spencer on General Hospital in March 2015, has been taken off contract and bumped to recurring at the soap.

This change of status is reflected by Sarpy no longer appearing with the other contract cast members during the closing credits of GH.

Since General Hospital utilizes a significant number of recurring actors, this doesn't necessarily mean that she will leave the soap.

During Valerie's time in Port Charles, she has had an affair with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and an ultimately unsuccessful relationship with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). She was most recently seen in scenes with Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins).

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC
