Origin Series 'Gotham' Premieres Tonight, Stars Ben McKenzie, Jada Pinkett Smith, Donal Logue


The origin stories begin on the series premiere of Gotham, airing Monday, September 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.

Gotham traces the rise of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (The Mentalist, Rome) and starring Ben McKenzie (Southland, The O.C.), Jada Pinkett Smith (Hawthorne, Collateral) and Donal Logue (Vikings, Sons of Anarchy), Gotham follows one cop, destined for greatness, as he navigates a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Sarah Essen, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/the future Riddler, Victoria Cartagena as Renee Montoya, Andrew Stewart Jones as Crispus Allen, and John Doman as Carmine Falcone.

The guest cast includes Richard Kind as Mayor Aubrey James, Grayson McCouch as Thomas Wayne, and Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean.
