Sparks Fly Between Deimos and Eve on 'Days of our Lives'

Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) cross paths today on Days of our Lives, and it could be the start of something big between the two characters.

Irizarry hinted at this when he tweeted support to the popular DePaiva, who had recently announced she had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. "Waiting for your return to @nbcdays #deimos & #eve have some unfinished business!"

Now that Eve and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) have become friends, it seems the perfect time for Eve to show interest in Nicole's man.

Get well Kassie! We will enjoy the time we have with Eve right now, and are looking forward to seeing a lot more of Eve's possible relationship with Deimos in the future.

Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.

UPDATE: The scenes between Deimos and Eve didn't air on 12-20-16. Will they air tomorrow? Fingers crossed!

Monday on 'Days of our Lives'

Philip is half-naked and afraid on Days of our Lives
Tomorrow, on the Monday December 12, 2016 episode of Days of our Lives, Philip (John Paul Lavoisier), under the influence of truth serum, is questioned by Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), about Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin).

Irizary tells Soap Opera Digest, "As far as this baby is concerned, Philip hasn't been forthcoming about anything, Deimos already knows that he's not going to get anything from Philip just by asking him. So Deimos decides the best thing to do is put Philip under a drug that causes him to tell the truth."

Meanwhile, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) catches up with both Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). Eve and Jennifer bond over the deaths of Paige and Abigail, although viewers know that Abby is very much alive.

Elsewhere, Chad (Billy Flynn) visits Hope (Kristian Alfonso) in prison. Is Chad going to forgive Hope for murdering his father?

Kassie DePaiva Back to 'Days of our Lives'

Steven Bergman
Kassie DePaiva is reprising the role of Eve Larson on Days of our Lives. She first airs December 9, when Eve returns to Salem and crosses paths with Brady (Eric Martsolf).

These scenes were filmed before the popular actress announced in August that she was being treated for Leukemia.

There isn't any word on how long Eve will be in Salem, or if DePavia's health cut short a potential story for her character.

DePaiva originally played the role of Eve from May 2014 until February 2016. She then briefly visited this past September for Theresa's (Jen Lilley) wedding.

DePaivia is best known for her portrayal of Blair Kramer on One Life to Live. She also played Chelsea Reardon on Guiding Light.

Kassie DePaiva Returning to 'Days of our Lives'?

Steven Bergman
Is Kassie DePaiva returning to Days of our Lives as Eve Larson? Although the show hasn't confirmed the news, jason 47′s facebook page claims the actress is on her way back.

DePaiva is one of those actresses who loves and respects daytime television, so I certainly can't be anything but happy about the news. We will have to wait and see what brings Eve back to Salem.

Kassie DePaiva has stopped airing as Eve Larson on Days of Our Lives, but that isn't getting her down. She has a One Life to Live reunion to talk about.

DePaiva is guesting on the February 14 episode of Castle, where she reunites with her former OLTL co-stars Nathan Fillion, and Tuc Watkins.

Kassie has taken to facebook to give us the details on what that experience was like, and what else she has going on in her life at the moment. She also sends a special message to her fans from Days of our Lives

Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) has a dream about a mysterious woman (Marie Wilson), and a jealous Belle (Martha Madison) warns Eve (Kassie DePaiva) to stay away from her daughter!

Kassie DePaiva Leaving 'Days of our Lives'

Kassie DePaiva
Kassie DePaiva is leaving Days of our Lives and the role of Eve Larson. She joined the NBC soap opera early last year, making her first onscreen appearance in the June 18, 2014 episode. Charlotte Ross previously played the role of Eve from 1987-1991.

Since Days tapes so far ahead, DePaiva will remain onscreen for several more months. She has a big story coming up with A Martinez, who is joining the show as Eduardo, Eve's ex. We also know, thanks to a recent DePaiva interview, that she will be singing on the Days Christmas episode.

Eve's exit will not be tied to the serial killer storyline which has resulted in the deaths of Serena Mason (Melissa Archer) and Eve's daughter, Paige Larson (True O'Brien), with more deaths to come. DePaiva gave her best Days performance last week when Eve found out Paige had been murdered.

There's no word at this point on whether DePaiva's departure was her choice or just part of the cast pruning that's taking place at Days along with all the new additions.

DePaiva is best known for her 20-year run on One Life to Live as Blair Cramer (1993-2013), earning a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2005. She briefly crossed the character over to General Hospital in 2012. Prior to OLTL, she starred for five years as Chelsea Reardon on Guiding Light (1986-1991). She is also widely recognized for her portrayal of Bobby Jo in the cult film, Evil Dead II.
