Meanwhile, even though she has already broken up with JJ (Casey Moss), Gabi (Camila Banus) breaks up with him again after discovering Lani (Sal Stowers) is the woman JJ slept with in Miami. Lani gives the two space to work out their issues, but Gabi claims she is done with JJ for good.

'Days of our Lives' 2017 Preview

2016 ended on Days of our Lives, with Paul (Christopher Sean) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) sharing a kiss. What can we expect on DAYS in 2017? Romance, return of beloved characters, and a long-awaited wedding are on the horizon.

* Marlena (Deidre Hall), Steve (Stephen Nichols), Rafe (Galen Gering), and Paul fight to get Hope released from prison, and go to Prauge to get proof that Stefano is alive. Sonny and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) follow, and while there, romance blooms for 'PaulSon' and 'Stayla'.

* Hope escapes from prison after she finds herself the victim of a violent situation. Who will come to her rescue?

* Chad finds himself torn between Gabi (Camila Banus) and Abby (Marci Miller). Can Chad and Abby reclaim the life they once shared?

* Nicole (Ari Zucker) and Deimos (Vincent Irizary) become engaged, but an unexpected revelation shakes up the new couple.

'Days of our Lives' December 30 Sneak Peek: Horrible Flashback Causes Panic Attack For Abby; Gabi to the Rescue?

Tomorrow, on the December 30, 2016 episode of Days of our Lives, Abigail is haunted by images of Chad and Gabi smooching, and has a panic attack. Will she allow Gabi to help her it? I hope Gabi doesn't share that she still has her eye on Chad, as I don't think that news will help the fragile woman through her ordeal!

Meanwhile, JJ receives a huge shock. Lani was the one who he had sex with in Miami, and she isn't too happy that he doesn't recall the dirty details. To make matters worse, a horrified Gabi overhears. Uh oh!

'Days of our Lives' December 29 Sneak Peek: Chad and Abby Have a Night of Romance

Tomorrow, on the December 29, 2016 episode of Days of our Lives, Chad and Abigail have a night of romance. Abby asks her husband for a dance, and Chad pulls her in for a kiss. Will this be a fresh new start for this beloved couple?

Later, Jennifer’s thrilled when she learns Chad knows the truth about Abigail and appeals to him to be understanding of the situation.

Elsewhere, Kate and Eduardo make romantic NY Eve plans. However, Kate becomes distressed when she discovers that Eduardo stole the microchips from Andre.

Meanwhile, Justin and Lucas both show up at the hospital to be there for Adrienne.  Although it isn't easy for them, the two decide to bury the hatchet in order to show their support for the woman they both love.

In other Salem news, Anne runs into Lucas and asks him to talk to Jennifer about her working at the spectator. He agrees to consider it.

This Friday on Days of our Lives, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) finally comes face to face with his presumed dead wife Abigail (Marci Miller). Will Chad and Abby find their way back to each other? Unfortunately, it doesn't like that will be happening any time soon.

A leaked audition tape on vimeo reveals that Abby and Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) are engaged, and Abby has begun divorce proceedings. Have the two truly fallen in love, or are they getting married to keep Dario from being deported? As it turns out, Dario has recently discovered that his residency status is in question. Uh oh!

So Deimos decides the best thing to do is put Philip under a drug that causes him to tell the truth."
