Brytni Sarpy Off Contract at 'General Hospital'

Brytni Sarpy, who created the role of Valerie Spencer on General Hospital in March 2015, has been taken off contract and bumped to recurring at the soap.

This change of status is reflected by Sarpy no longer appearing with the other contract cast members during the closing credits of GH.

Today on the June 1, 2016 episode of General Hospital, Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) asks Kiki (Hayley Erin) out on a date. Will she recognize the chemistry they share and say yes?

Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) make plans for the future, and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Hayden (Rebecca Budig) clash.

Many of our favorite couples are giving into passion, Laura (Genie Francis) spends some time with Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), and Sam (Kelly Monaco) tells Kristina (lexi Ainsworth), "I do not kiss and tell!"

Daytime Emmys - Outstanding Supporting Actor/Actress - My Top 5

Approaching the challenge to select my top five choices for Outstanding Supporting Actor and/or Actress was equally as daunting as the task of selecting five from the Outstanding Actor & Actress categories. However, this task was multiplied in difficulty as, having watched all four network TV soaps during the past year, I felt some actors were glaringly snubbed in the Supporting Actor/Actress categories. While it is hard to block out a performers entire body of work, and keep focused solely on the submission reels, I can only assume this is what occurred during this year’s nominee selection process.

Although I would have liked to have seen more actors and actresses nominated, each of the nominees had exciting and dramatic storylines during 2015. Since I have not been privileged to see the reels sent in by each actor, I am basing my selections on overall storylines and performances from 2015.

Without further delay, here are my selections in no particular order:

2015 General Hospital Fan Build Day Set For April 18

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) has announced the 6th Annual General Hospital Fan Build Day, set to take place on a Habitat LA build site on April 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This annual build day gives fans of the classic ABC drama the chance to mingle and collaborate with their favorite General Hospital actors as they help to build Habitat LA homes. An added benefit that the fans and actors look forward to year after year, is getting to work alongside a hardworking, low-income partner family or individual.

Due to the popularity of this event, build spots fill very up quickly. This year, there will be 20 build spots available. Fans can now register for the build event and are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

'General Hospital': Men in Yellow Suits! Who is the Mystery Man in the Sassy Blue Gloves?

An unconscious Dante and Lulu watched by the mystery man in sassy blue gloves.

On the Tuesday, September 2 episode of ABC soap opera General Hospital, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the police swarmed the house to rescue Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) from Levi/Peter Harrell Jr (Zachary Garred). As "Petey Jr." held Lulu at gunpoint, she elbowed him in the stomach and Dante shot him in the shoulder, knocking him out and saving the day. Or so it seemed...

Clifftwister of the Day: Just when it looked like the kidnapping nightmare was over, someone tossed a gas bomb into the house and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) watched in horror from outside as everyone inside fell unconscious. Men in yellow biohazard suits and masks arrived to make sure it was clear for the mystery leader to walk in. In a suit and sassy blue gloves, the mysterious man walked in and examined the situation.
