Kristina Wagner and John J York Visit 'General Hospital'

Kristina Wagner and John J York
Good news for fans of General Hospital. Kristina Wagner and John J York are set to reprise their roles of Felicia and Mac for the wedding of Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) next week.

As it turns out, It's a good thing that felicia and Mac are there for the big day. The latest issue of Soap Opera Digest reveals that Felicia breaks up a brawl between Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Lulu (Emme Rylan), while Mac tends to a nervous Nathan.

Port Charles always feels a little more like home when Mac and Felicia are around. It would be great to see them a bit more in 2017.

'General Hospital' Sneak Peek: Sparring Jailbirds Ava and Nina

They are in separate cells but there's plenty of verbal sparring between Ava (Maura West) and
Nina (Michelle Stafford) on General Hospital.
During the week of December 15-19, 2014 on ABC soap opera General Hospital, Ava Jerome (Emmy winner Maura West) and Nina Clay (Emmy winner Michelle Stafford) are both locked up, and a war of words ensues.

"You're going to be in here for years and years, possibly life, and I get to get out," Nina says, "and I get to be with Jamie."

"You really are delusional, aren't you?" Ava asks. "Do you honestly think you'll get custody of a baby, any baby after what you've done?"

Fed up, Ava later goes for the jugular.

"You've blown your chance at motherhood," Ava sneers. "You're completely barren, and now you've blown your chance at adopting."

That leads Nina, who clearly lost her last marble in recent weeks, to throw a chair.

Watch a sneak peek of their latest showdown below:

Shining Star: Linda Elena Tovar Continues to Sparkle as Rosalie Martinez on 'General Hospital'

Linda Elena Tovar plays Rosalie Martinez on General Hospital.
Once in awhile an actress transcends her role. Linda Elena Tovar has accomplished that as nurse Rosalie Martinez on ABC's General Hospital. Soap operas often create "talk-tos," characters whose sole purpose is to provide an ear to the main character.  In this case, Rosalie is a sounding board for Michelle Stafford's Nina Clay, and the two of them have instantly become one of the best dynamic duos in daytime. Stafford has been mesmerizing as Nina, which we recognized in our 10 Sensational Summer Performances list, while Tovar has taken a limited role and become a revelation.

She imbues Rosalie with a rich tapestry of color.  The character is menacing with the late Rafe (Jimmy Deschler), bold with Silas (Michael Easton), loving and caring towards Nina one moment and equally as ruthless the next.

Then there is Rosalie's intriguing chemistry with Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), the sexy son of mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).  Is she genuinely concerned about him and his problems with Ava (Maura West), or does she just want to get him into bed? Or both! We don't know but really want to find out thanks to Tovar's enthralling performance.

General Hospital's Rosalie and Morgan.
Morgan has troubles with his father Sonny (Maurice Benard), and the explosive anger Rosalie has towards her own father leads one to believe there are many more interesting layers and details to be revealed about the character. Will Rosalie find love with Morgan? Who is her father? Will she help eventually Nina steal Ava's baby (which could be Morgan's child)? Stay tuned!

No matter what happens with Rosalie's storyline I'm calling it now: Linda Elena Tovar is a star.

Why Honey Boo Boo Child Can Save Spencer Cassadine's Life on 'General Hospital'

Spencer Cassadine needs love.
General Hospital's Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Would she ever take a walk on the wild side with him? She is like her parents Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and believes in saving lives instead of destroying them. He will grow tired of her goodness.
