Actress Ashley Jones has returned to the General Hospital studio, where she will once again be playing Parker Forsyth.

She shared a picture with co-star Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina), saying, “Already #backtowork today! I’m ‘checking back into the hospital!’ It’s just #generalhospital! With @_lexiainsworth — love working w you!”

Nancy Lee Grahn is Thrilled Lexi Ainsworth is Back on 'General Hospital'

Lexi Ainsworth has been doing fantastic work as Kristina on General Hospital since returning the show, and I am not the only one who thinks that. Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) does too! Grahn tells Soap Opera Digest she is trilled to have Ainsworth back in Port Charles.

"I always thought she was interesting. I always thought she had an access to really raw, gutsy emotions and doesn't make soapy choices. She's authentic," Grahn declares. "I felt that when she did that Keifer story [when Kristina was being abused by her boyfriend], she was so believable. I've never found her to be false, so I never understood [why she was let go in 2011], especially because she had such great chemistry with Maurice Benard [Benard, Sonny]. I just didn't get it! I love the girl and I just never got it. When they brought her back, I thought, 'This is really going to pay off for them.' I think people are really enjoying her story and she's doing a wonderful job with it. I'm so pleased. All my daughters on the show are different and I have a different dynamic with each of them--and clearly Kristina gives me the most trouble! But Lexi doesn't [laughs]. Lexi is a pleasure."

'General Hospital' Star Ashley Jones Is a New Bride!

Congratulations to Ashley Jones (Parker, General Hospital), who recently married her boyfriend Joel Henricks!

Jones tells Soaps In Depth that they tied the knot in a quiet courtroom wedding. “It was just one of those things that we wanted to do,” she says. “I have quite a few friends who have done that. We’ll have a ceremony and party later, but the actual legality [is handled].”

The popular actress also has a honeymoon to plan as well.  According to Jones, "I’m not sure where we’re going to squeeze that in,. We are going to try to do it, but then work came up, which is always good.”

Jones is also now a stepmother to  Henricks' young son, Huck. “I’ve been around a lot of children, but once it’s your journey and you have a human being in front of you and you want to become his friend and a guiding force in his life, it’s daunting,” she confesses. “It’s totally different and very real.”

It's nice to see that Jones is so happy in her personal life.  Something tells me that life isn't going to be so easy for her GH character Parker Forsyth.

Ashley Jones Joins 'General Hospital'

Actress Ashley Jones, best known as Bridgett Forrester on the Bold and the Beautiful, has been cast on General Hospital as a woman who shares a very interesting connection to Kristina Corinthos (lexi Ainsworth).

Jones is portraying Parker Forsyth, who Kristina offered to sleep with for better grades in her class.

Jones tells Soap Opera Digest, "They were so secretive about it that I've been scared to tell anyone," grins the actress. "They made it very clear that [Parker's gender] was a reveal and they didn't want me to give it away." Jones has shot two episodes so far, and is thrilled to be part of the show. "I've watched GENERAL HOSPITAL over the years, so it's just a pleasure to see all these people on set and in and out of the makeup room."
