Congratulations to Ashley Jones (Parker,
General Hospital), who recently married her boyfriend Joel Henricks!
Jones tells
Soaps In Depth that they tied the knot in a quiet courtroom wedding. “It was just one of those things that we wanted to do,” she says. “I have quite a few friends who have done that. We’ll have a ceremony and party later, but the actual legality [is handled].”
The popular actress also has a honeymoon to plan as well. According to Jones, "I’m not sure where we’re going to squeeze that in,. We are going to try to do it, but then work came up, which is always good.”
Jones is also now a stepmother to Henricks' young son, Huck. “I’ve been around a lot of children, but once it’s your journey and you have a human being in front of you and you want to become his friend and a guiding force in his life, it’s daunting,” she confesses. “It’s totally different and very real.”
It's nice to see that Jones is so happy in her personal life. Something tells me that life isn't going to be so easy for her
