Audiences experience their lives and loves from prom night to their ten year reunion as told through more than twenty chart topping hits of the fifties and sixties including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me,” and “It’s My Party.”

Created, written, and originally directed by Roger Bean, the previous New York production played at the West Side Theatre from September 2008 to January 2010.

With a full house on hand, more than a quarter of the people in attendance made a large donation to help homeless children, signed up for tours, and/or became monthly donors to the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Among the 230 "Have a Heart for the Center" attendees were Kristen Alderson (General Hospital), Brittany Underwood (Youthful Daze), Lachlan Buchanan (The Young and the Restless), Kyle Schuneman, former Congressman and producer Mike Huffington, and Allie Gonino's band members from The Good Mad. "You're my daughter," Franco says to Kiki.
During the week of February 16-20 on ABC soap opera General Hospital, Kiki (Kirsten Alderson) visits Franco (Roger Howarth), who is still recovering after injecting himself with LSD. Kiki is surprised when Franco responds and seems to know who she is.

"So you know who I am?" Kiki asks.

Will this be the final scene ever between Alderson, who will soon be leaving GH, and Howarth, who played her father for many years on One Life to Live?

Kristen Alderson Speaks Out On Why She's Leaving 'General Hospital'

Kristen Alderson has chosen to leave GH after three years.
Kristen Alderson has posted a video on YouTube explaining why she chose to leave General Hospital and the role of Kiki Jerome.

"Instead of tweeting, I wanted to make this video to tell you guys myself why I decided to leave General Hospital," Alderson says. "And I did. And it's because … well, it’s not because of the cast and crew, I can tell you that right now. Everyone has been so lovely to me. I've had the best time over the past three years. And this decision is purely spur of the moment, kind of an epiphany that I had, that I've been in this amazing little soap bubble since I was 6 years old and now I’m 23. I've never done anything else. I've never pushed myself. I never challenged myself to do other things, and not necessarily in the industry, but just things in life, like like taking a class here or there for something other than acting, and getting back into singing, which you guys know I love to do, so that would be really exciting. And who knows where this road is going take me?"

Kristen Alderson Leaving 'General Hospital' as Kiki Jerome

Kristen Alderson will be leaving General Hospital soon.
Kristen Alderson is leaving ABC soap opera General Hospital and the role of Kiki Jerome, according to Soap Opera Digest, who reports the actress will wrap her run very soon.

The Emmy-winning actress first hit the daytime scene in 1998 at the tender age of 6 as Starr Manning in One Life to Live, a role she played until the popular ABC soap went off the air in January 2012. A month later, Alderson crossed over in character to General Hospital.

In 2013, after a legal dispute between ABC and Prospect Park over the rights to the character, she briefly left GH and returned in a new role, Kiki Jerome.

Chad Duell (Michael), Alderson's real-life boyfriend, tweeted that it was Alderson's decision to leave the soap.

Perhaps someday, when the lawsuit between ABC and Prospect Park is settled, Alderson will return to GH as Starr Manning.

Serial Scoop will keep you posted on Alderson's final airdate.

Emmy-nominated actor Dylan Baker makes his directorial debut in the new movie 23 Blast. When a high school football star is suddenly stricken with irreversible, total blindness, he must decide whether to live a safe, protected life or to summon the courage through playing football to step back into the world.

Written by Bram Hoover and Toni Hoover, 23 Blast is based on the amazing, true story of Travis Freeman. A typical teenager growing up in a small town in Kentucky, Travis is a local hero on and off the field. In the prime of his youth, he is unexpectedly stricken with an infection that destroys his optic nerve; he becomes blind overnight. Travis is played in the film by former Days of our Lives star Mark Hapka.

Also starring are Bram Hoover, Stephen Lang, Max Adler, Alexa PenaVega, Dylan Baker, Kim Zimmer, Becky Ann Baker and Timothy Busfield

Under the influence of parents who love him, a physical therapist who challenges him, a coach who inspires him, and a best friend who he cannot bear to leave behind, Travis shows us what true bravery is by competing on the gridiron, helping his team advance to the State playoffs. We follow Travis and Jerry Baker, his closest friend, from the time they meet on the football field as kids through high school. Jerry’s attraction to the dark side of teenage temptations threatens to pull the friends apart. It is only on the football field where they truly connect.

Depicting a story of hope triumphing over despair, of courage and faith overcoming fear and of victory prevailing over adversity, 23 Blast is designed to encourage and uplift audiences.
The cast also includes Crystal Hunt, Fred Thompson, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Kevin Cooney and Scott Sowers.

23 Blast will be released nationwide on Friday, October 24, but a premiere was held in New York City on Monday night at Regal Cinemas E-Walk Theatre. Check out photos from the event below:

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Brittany Underwood on Playing Bad, and a 'One Life to Live' Reunion on 'Youthful Daze'

Left: Brittany Underwood. Right: Sarah Hester, Mike C. Manning and Brittany Underwood.
Actress Brittany Underwood is well-known for a memorable six-year stint as Langston Wilde on daytime drama One Life to Live, as well as her role as Lauren Tate in primetime soap opera Hollywood Heights. She guest stars on ABC's The Goldbergs on Wednesday, October 22 as Jill Rubin.

Underwood has also joined the cast of another serialized drama, hit web series Youthful Daze, as Sheila Edmundson, a character bound to cause heaps of trouble for anyone who crosses her path.

Serial Scoop spoke with Underwood about her new character, the One Life to Live reunion taking place on the set of Youthful Daze (David Gregory and Nic Robuck will soon arrive on the canvas), how her Youthful Daze executive producer Bryan James is different than her former executive producers Frank Valentini and Jill Farren Phelps, and to find out if she too will be joining The Young and the Restless, as several of her former Hollywood Heights co-stars have. Read our exclusive interview below:

SERIAL SCOOP: It’s a One life to Live reunion on Youthful Daze.
BRITTANY UNDERWOOD: I know. I know. I was very excited about that. It’s so funny because Nic (Robuck, who played James on One Life to Live) was asking me what I was doing as he was seeing all of my tweets about Youthful Daze and he was curious, as a lot of my actor friends are.  I told Bryan James I have friends that are curious and it’s really exciting and how Nic Robuck from One Life to Live was asking me about it.  A few days later Bryan came back and asked, "What if we had Nic on the show? He could be this…" I was like oh my god, that’s so amazing, and that would be so much fun. I love Nic and getting to act with him. It's really fun.
