General Hospital Executive Producer Frank Valentini and Daytime Emmy winners Anthony Geary, Maura West, Chad Duell and Donna Mills appeared on Monday's episode of ABC's
The View, airing live from the Los Angeles set of
GH.
For his role as Luke Spencer, Anthony Geary was honored with his eighth Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actor category, making him the most honored actor in Daytime Emmy history, breaking his own record.
Emmy-winner Maura West took home her third Emmy marking her first for the role of
General Hospital's Ava Jerome.

Chad Duell took home his first Emmy for the role of Michael Corinthos in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category.
Television veteran Donna Mills was honored with her first Emmy as Outstanding Special Guest Performer category for her portrayal of Madeline Reeves.
After a stir on social media about the
General Hospital stars not appearing on CBS'
The Talk, the
GH segment on
The View actually (and surprisingly) turned out to be longer and more interesting than any of the Emmy segments on the rival network's talk show on Monday. In fact,
The Talk didn't include anyone from
The Bold and the Beautiful, the CBS soap opera which won more Daytime Emmys than any other series this year.
