'Serial Scoop Now': 'The Bay' at the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards

Chad Duell Joins the Cast of 'The Bay' as Adam Kenway

Chad Duell shares scenes with Thomas Calabro on The Bay
Emmy Winner Chad Duell, who currently stars as Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, has joined the cast of The Bay as Adam Kenway.

The character is described as a "mysterious young man who comes to comes to Bay City with an agenda and wreaks havoc in the lives of Pete Garrett (Kristos Andrews) and Sara Garrett (Mary Beth Evans).

Five actors will compete for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Digital Drama Series at the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmys. Nominated are: Van Hansis (Thom) EastSiders, Kevin Spirtas (Dominic) Winterthorne, Rick Hearst (Mr.Ryan) Youthful Daze, Kristos Andrews (Pete) The Bay, and JD Pardo (Jesus) East Los High.

Anacostia was voted favorite web series of the week.
The results are in from the Indie Series Network and Serial Scoop "Web Series of the Week" (#WSOTW) poll for December 26, 2015-January 1, 2016.

Anacostia was voted favorite web series for the week. The online premiere of The Southside came in second, followed by new episodes of Crest Fallen, He's With Me and Under InspeKtion.

The acting favorites were The Southside's Kristos Andrews and Anacostia's Tamieka Chavis, and the favorite couple/duo was Mia & Eric from Anacostia.

Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards Presenters Revealed


The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the presenters for the 42nd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

“With two Daytime icons, Alex Trebek and Florence Henderson, as our hosts and Producer/Director Michael Gargiulo as our crafts lifetime achievement honoree, this year's Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be an event that will inspire pride within the community!,” said David Michaels, Senior Vice President, Daytime.

To date, scheduled presenters include Hunter King, Lachlan Buchanan, Casey Moss, Jen Lilley, Lawrence St. Victor, Darin Brooks, Laura Wright, Chad Duell, John Tesh, Philippe Cousteau, Richard Wiese, Jessica Carleton, Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, Martha Byrne, Kristos Andrews, JD Roberto, Camila Banus, Vannessa Vasquez, as well as the evenings hosts, Florence Henderson and Alex Trebek.

6th Annual Indie Series Awards Red Carpet Show - Part 3


Serial Scoop Now was on the red carpet for the 6th Annual Indie Series Awards on Wednesday, April 1, at the historic El Portal Theatre in Los Angeles.
