Indie Series Awards Spotlight: Best Ensemble — Drama

Anacostia, The Bay, Chancers, EastSiders, Teenagers and Winterthorne are nominated for ISAs in the Best Ensemble — Drama category.

The 7th Annual Indie Series Awards ceremony is only 29 days away. As the countdown to ISA7 continues, Serial Scoop is shining a spotlight on the nominees in each of this year's 30 categories. Today we are featuring Best Ensemble — Drama. Watch the six ensembles navigate their characters' complicated lives in the nominated performances below. You will see an unexpected and shocking shooting, a very complicated wedding, an encounter with a drug lord, a teen angst-filled birthday celebration, a shocking family revelation from a scumbag henchman, an enlightening trip to the STD clinic, and a whole lot more.

The Bay was voted favorite web series for the third week in a row. The latest from Family Problems came in second, followed by new episodes of Chancers, Year of Spies and Shades of Bad.

The acting favorites were The Bay's Kristos Andrews and Lilly Melgar, and the favorite couple/duo was Janice & Peter from The Bay.

Family Problems was voted favorite web series for the second week in a row. The latest from Chancers came in second, followed by new episodes of Match Not Found, Shades of Bad and In Retrospect.

The acting favorites were Chancers' Scott Wickes and Family Problems' Natasha Hatalsky, and the favorite couple/duo was Christina & Alexander from Family Problems.

The purpose of our weekly poll is to help spread the word about new web series episodes that have been released, and to provide an outlet for potential viewers to find them in one easy location (actually, two easy locations!). We encourage creators to check out the other shows and to support each others' promotional efforts when possible. In many cases, the writer/producer/multi-hyphenate showrunner is also the PR rep, so every like, retweet and encouraging word helps.
