Last Air Date Revealed for 'Days of our Lives' Star Alexander Bruszt

Alexander Bruszt is leaving Days of our Lives, and his role of Dr. Fynn Thompson behind.

The actor, who originally won a contest in Australia to nab the role, will last air in the role at the end of July.

During his time in Salem, Fynn obsessed over Daniel (ex-Shawn Christian), dated Ava (ex-Tamara Braun), and attempted to romance Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).

'Days of our Lives' May 31 Sneak Peek: Abigail Devastates Chad

Tomorrow on the May 31, 2016 episode of Days of our Lives, Chad (Billy Flynn) is upset after Abigail (Kate Mansi) refuses to see him again. How much more can he take?

'Days of our Lives' "Search for a Star" Winner Announced: Alexander Bruszt

Foxtel's Arena channel,Corday Productions Inc. and Sony Pictures Television have announced the winner of the Days of our Lives "Search for a Star" competition is established Sydney actor Alexander Bruszt.

Alexander, 32, one of over 300 actors who entered Arena's online competition, has been chosen after flying to Los Angeles last week to screen test with two other finalists, for the chance of a lifetime to star on the iconic series.

Alexander will pay the role of Fynn, a handsome, rugged Australian doctor who arrives in Salem to do his residency, specifically to gain skills as a surgeon, working under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian).

'Days of our Lives' Search for a Star Top 3 Announced: Alexander Bruszt, Andrew Steel, Tom Dalzell


Foxtel’s Arena channel, the producers of Days of our Lives, Corday Productions Inc. and distributor, Sony Pictures Television are excited to announce the top three finalists who have the chance to star on the iconic series Days of our Lives.

After three weeks of Arena’s online campaign, the casting director and producers of Corday Productions Inc. have scoured over 300 entries and are excited to announce the top three actors who will fly to LA to screen test for the role. The top three finalists are Sydney actor Alexander Bruszt, Sydney actor/musician Andrew Steel and Gold Coast actor Tom Dalzell, currently based in Los Angeles.
