'Days of our Lives' June 7 Sneak Peek: Ximena Duque Debuts as Blanca

Tomorrow on the June 7, 2016 episode of Days of our Lives, Rafe (Galen Gering) realizes that his meddling mother Adriana (Alma Delfina) has an agenda when she invites her old friend Blanca (Ximena Duque) from Mexico to come and stay in Salem for a little while.

Meanwhile, Kate (Laura Koslow) is a busy woman. She makes a secret deal with Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove), and finds time to frame Nicole (Arianne Zucker) for Deimos’ murder. Lovely person!

Alma Delfina Signs Contract with 'Days of our Lives'

Actress Alma Delfina debuts as Rafe (Galen Gering), Gabi (Camila Banus), and Dario's (Jordi Vilasuso) mom Adriana Hernandez this week on Days of our Lives, and it's a contract role.

Delfina tells Soap Opera Digest, "I received a call telling me that the people from Days of our Lives were interested in me, that they were thinking about me when they were planning this new character, a mexican mother who was coming into the story. I met with two or three of the producers and the head writer. They asked me about my life and my work in television."

The next day, Delfina's agent phoned with a contract offer, but before she signed it, they wanted to first meet with her and A Martinez (Eduardo) together. "They had a meeting with us together, and that was it," recounts Delfina. "We just said a few words and we were already laughing. We had so many things in common. I am so grateful to be working with a man with his experience. He has such an openness to working with new people and is very respectful."
