Official Cast List for New 'Twin Peaks' Released

Twin Peaks will premiere in 2017 on Showtime
Principal photography has concluded on the highly-anticipated new Twin Peaks for Showtime. And today, the network, David Lynch and Mark Frost revealed a key piece of the mystery: the official cast of the series. Written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost, the new Twin Peaks is directed entirely by David Lynch, and will premiere on Showtime in 2017, on-air, on demand and over the internet.

One of the most groundbreaking and influential television series of all time, the new Showtime series picks up twenty-five years after the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town were stunned when their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered.

The list below includes the 217 cast members appearing in the new Twin Peaks, including Golden Globe winner and Emmy Award nominee Kyle MacLachlan, who returns as FBI Agent Dale Cooper. Those who have previously appeared in the Twin Peaks world have been asterisked.

'One Life to Live' Alum Sean Ringgold Guest Stars Tonight on Billions

One life to Live alum Sean Ringgold guest stars in this week's new episode of Billions, airing Sunday, March 20 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.

In the episode, titled “Where The Fuck Is Donnie," The repercussions of the revelations come home to roost with public demonstrations, inside insurrection, and fleeing investors. A sudden and mysterious disappearance sends both Axe (Damian Lewis) and Chuck (Paul Giamatti) spinning.

Meanwhile, Lara (Malin Akerman) has to contend with the brotherhood of firefighters who are furious about Axe’s behavior – and in an effort to circle the wagons, makes a painful sacrifice.

'Shameless' Sneak Peek: Ian Reveals His Sexual History to Caleb

Ian reveals his sexual history to Caleb.
Ian (Cameron Monaghan) reveals his sexual history to Caleb (Jeff Pierre), and is surprised by his reaction in a brand new episode of Shameless, airing Sunday, March 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.

In the episode, titled “Paradise Lost," Sean (Dermot Mulroney) officially moves into the Gallagher house as Fiona (Emmy Rossum), intent on getting her marriage right this time, sets out to plan a traditional wedding, bachelorette party included.

Elsewhere, Kev (Steve Howey) is still not happy about V (Shanola Hampton) and Svetlana’s (Isidora Goreshter) pending green card marriage and tries to find a way around it by paying to get her a new identity. While he is off getting scammed, the girls take matters into their own hands.

'Billions' Sneak Peek: A Secret From Axe's Past Surfaces

In the episode, titled “Boasts And Rails," Connerty (Toby Leonard Moore) faces a moral dilemma in how to respond, leading to conflict with Chuck (Paul Giamatti), who finds himself reconsidering his position as both he and Wendy (Maggie Siff) look toward a future without Axe Capital looming between them.

Patti Lupone Returns to 'Penny Dreadful' as Series Regular

Production on the third season of the critically acclaimed hit Showtime drama series Penny Dreadful is currently under way, and a wealth of new and returning stars is headed to the set in Dublin, Ireland. Tony Award-winning star Patti LuPone (American Horror Story), who guest starred last season as the Cut-Wife, returns as a series regular in the new role of Dr. Seward, an American therapist who treats Vanessa (Eva Green) with an unconventional new approach. Also, this season will add Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr. Henry Jekyll to the lineup of literary characters featured in the show, to be played by Shazad Latif (The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Spooks).

The third season’s nine episodes, premiering on Showtime in 2016 on-air, on demand and over the internet, will feature several new guest stars, including Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Christian Camargo (Dexter, The Hurt Locker) as Dr. Alexander Sweet, a zoologist who strikes up an unlikely friendship with Vanessa; Sam Barnett (2012, Jupiter Ascending) as Dr. Seward’s mysterious young secretary; Wes Studi (Hell On Wheels, A Million Ways to Die in the West) as Kaetenay, an intense, enigmatic Native American with a deep connection to Ethan (Josh Hartnett) who also becomes an ally to Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton); and Jessica Barden (The Outcast, Far from the Madding Crowd) as Justine, a young acolyte to Lily (Billie Piper) and Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney).

Penny Dreadful is a frightening psychological thriller created, written and executive produced by three-time Oscar nominee John Logan (Hugo, The Aviator, Gladiator) and executive produced by Logan's Desert Wolf Productions, along with Oscar winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Skyfall) and Pippa Harris (Revolutionary Road, Call The Midwife), both of Neal Street Productions. The cast includes Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton and Eva Green. Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Billie Piper, Simon Russell Beale, and Harry Treadaway also star.

'Homeland' Season 5 Trailer Released

The fifth season premiere of Homeland airs Sunday, October 4th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime. The network has released the full-length trailer for its Emmy and Golden Globe-winning hit drama series.

Recently nominated for the Emmy for Outstanding Drama series, Homeland stars Emmy, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Award winner Claire Danes, Emmy nominee Rupert Friend, Oscar winner and Emmy nominee F. Murray Abraham, Sebastian Koch, Screen Actors Guild winner Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling, Sarah Sokolovic, and Emmy and Tony winner Mandy Patinkin.

Showtime Picks Up 'Ray Donovan' and 'Masters of Sex' for Fourth Seasons


In the middle of their critically acclaimed third years, including an Emmy nomination for Ray Donovan star Liev Schreiber, Showtime has announced that it will pick up both of its hit dramas, Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex for fourth seasons. The announcement was made by David Nevins, President, Showtime Networks Inc. Both series will receive 12 one-hour episodes and will begin production in 2016.

"Both Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex are signature series for SHOWTIME," said Nevins. "They are emblematic of what Showtime stands for - quality, premium programming that you cannot find anywhere else on television. We're so proud to continue offering both series across all our platforms."

Patti Smith's Memoir To Become a Limited Series on Showtime

Patti Smith's much sought after memoir, "Just Kids," has landed at Showtime. Co-written and produced by Patti Smith and three-time Academy Award nominee John Logan, the memoir will be developed into a Showtime limited series, to be produced with Logan's Desert Wolf Productions.

"'Just Kids' is one of my favorite memoirs of all time," said David Nevins, President of Showtime Networks Inc. "Not only is it a fascinating portrait of artists coming of age, but it's also an inspiring story of friendship, love and endurance. I'm so thrilled that Patti Smith will bring her unique voice to writing the scripts along with the gifted John Logan, who has been doing such a phenomenal job with Penny Dreadful for us."

Coming-of-Age Drama from Lena Waithe and Common Receives Pilot Order From Showtime

Showtime has given a pilot order to a one-hour drama created, executive produced and written by Lena Waithe (Dear White People, Bones) and executive produced by Grammy and Academy Award winner Common (Selma, Smokin' Aces). Produced by Fox 21, the untitled project is a relevant, timely and distinctive coming-of-age story of a young African American male in which just growing up can be a matter of life and death. In addition to Waithe and Common, the pilot will be executive produced by Aaron Kaplan (Secrets and Lies, The Mysteries of Laura) and directed and executive produced by Clark Johnson (HOMELAND, The Wire) and will begin shooting in Chicago later this year. The announcement was made today by David Nevins, President, Showtime Networks Inc.

"The two creative forces behind the show, both hailing from Chicago's South Side, give this pilot an unparelled authenticity," said Nevins. "Lena Waithe is an extremely fresh, talented young writer with a unique voice and a deeply thoughtful perspective into the world where she grew up. I immediately gravitated to her script, which is emotional, funny, tragic and relevant, all at once. And, we are so fortunate to have artist and visionary Common for his first producing project in scripted television."

"Homeland' Season 5 Premieres October 4, Followed by Return of 'The Affair'

Showtime has announced that the highly anticipated fifth season of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning hit drama series Homeland will premiere on Sunday, October 4th at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the second season premiere of the Golden Globe-winning drama The Affair at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The network also released the new season key art for Homeland's fifth season.

Homeland season five will pick up two years after Carrie Mathison's (Emmy, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Award winner Claire Danes) ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the "war on terror," Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working as the head of security for a German philanthropist. Homeland is currently in production in Berlin, and is the first American TV series to shoot entirely in Germany. Season five also stars Emmy nominee Rupert Friend, Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham, Sebastian Koch, Screen Actors Guild winner Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling, Sarah Sokolovic, and Emmy and Tony winner Mandy Patinkin. Produced by Fox 21 Television Studios, Homeland was developed for American television by Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon, and is based on the original Israeli series "Prisoners of War" by Gideon Raff. Judy Greer to Guest Star in 'Masters of Sex'

Judy Greer will join the third season of the critically-acclaimed drama Masters of Sex for one episode. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Michael Sheen and Emmy nominee Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, Masters of Sex chronicles their unusual lives, romance and pop-culture trajectory. Masters and Johnson's research touched off the sexual revolution and took them from a mid-western teaching hospital in St. Louis to the cover of Time magazine. Greer plays Alice Logan, the wife of Dan Logan (guest star Josh Charles), the perfume magnate who approaches Masters and Johnson about bottling the smell of sex. A recovering alcoholic and long-suffering spouse, Alice joins her husband and Masters and Johnson for a painful dinner in which agendas collide, truths are exposed and no relationship emerges in the state it entered.

Greer joins previously announced guest stars Beau Bridges, Maggie Grace, Josh Charles, Tate Donovan, Emily Kinney, Sarah Silverman and Allison Janney. Masters of Sex airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.

Showtime Releases First 'Billions' Teaser

Showtime has unveiled a first look teaser for the new drama series Billions, premiering in early 2016.

Starring Oscar nominee and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Paul Giamatti (John Adams) and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis (Homeland), Billions is a 21st-century examination of the profit and peril of chasing the American dream. Billions is written and executive produced by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Ocean's Thirteen, Rounders), and Andrew Ross Sorkin (Too Big To Fail). The series will soon begin production on 12 one-hour episodes, shooting in New York.

Showtime Now Available Over the Internet


Starting today, Showtime is available as a stand-alone streaming service on Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and the Roku streaming platform, and consumers can subscribe to the service for one monthly price of $10.99. Viewers can also subscribe to Showtime via PlayStation Vue's cloud-based TV service, or can get the Showtime service through their Hulu subscription and stream on a wide range of the most popular internet-connected streaming devices. The launch of Showtime through these new internet distributors coincides with the new seasons of the critically-acclaimed, hit series Ray Donovan, starring Liev Schreiber, and Masters of Sex, starring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan, premiering this Sunday, July 12th. In addition, Showtime is also available to subscribers via cable, DBS and telco providers.

Showtime subscribers will have unlimited on demand access to every season of award-winning Showtime original series, and hundreds of hours of movies, documentary and sports programming, as well as the live broadcast of the Showtime east and west coast feeds. Josh Charles 'Masters of Sex' in a Major Guest-Starring Role

Emmy-nominated actor Josh Charles will recur in a season-long arc on the third season of MASTERS OF SEX, which premieres July 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Michael Sheen and Emmy nominee Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, MASTERS OF SEX chronicles their unusual lives, romance and pop-culture trajectory. Masters and Johnson's research touched off the sexual revolution and took them from a mid-western teaching hospital in St. Louis to the cover of Time magazine. Best known to television audiences as Will Gardner on The Good Wife, Charles is set to play Daniel Logan, a self-made businessman working in the scent industry. In an attempt to bottle the smell of sex and market an aphrodisiac to the general public, Dan seeks out Masters and Johnson's expertise on desire. A charismatic salesman, Dan's involvement with Masters and Johnson becomes complicated.

Season 5 of 'Homeland' To Shoot in Germany This Summer

Homeland will become the first American TV series to shoot an entire season in Germany.
Showtime and Fox 21 Television Studios have announced today that season five of the Emmy and Golden Globe award winning series Homeland will shoot on location in Germany. Beginning production in early June at the famed Studio Babelsberg in Berlin, Homeland will become the first American television series to shoot a full season entirely in Germany. Season five will pick-up two years after Carrie Mathison’s (Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award winner Claire Danes) ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the “war on terror,” Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working for a private security firm. Homeland’s 12-episode season will premiere this fall on Showtime.

Produced by Fox 21 Television Studios, Homeland was developed for American television by Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon, and is based on the original Israeli series Prisoners of War by Gideon Raff. Along with Gansa, Gordon and Raff, the executive producers for season five are Alexander Cary, Chip Johannessen, Meredith Stiehm, Patrick Harbinson, Lesli Linka Glatter, Avi Nir and Ran Telem.

Showtime Moves 'Penny Dreadful' Season 2 Premiere to May 3

SHOWTIME will now premiere the sophomore season of the critically-acclaimed psychological thriller PENNY DREADFUL on Sunday, May 3rd at 10 p.m. ET/PT. PENNY DREADFUL returns with ten episodes and will find Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) and Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) forming a deeper bond as the group, including Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton), Dr. Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway), and Sembene (Danny Sapani), unite to banish the evil forces that threaten to destroy them. Katie Holmes Lands Major Guest Starring Role in 'Ray Donovan'


Katie Holmes will appear in a major guest starring role in the upcoming third season of the hit Showtime drama series Ray Donovan.

Holmes will play shrewd and chic businesswoman Paige, the daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (Ian McShane), who enlists Ray’s services.
