Eden Riegel to Guest Star in 'Criminal Minds' on October 15

Eden Riegel will play a key role in the October 15 episode of Criminal Minds on CBS.
Emmy Award-winning actress Eden Riegel (All My Children, Imaginary Bitches) will guest star in the October 15 episode of CBS primetime drama Criminal Minds, titled "A Thousand Suns."

When a passenger jet crashes in Colorado, the BAU team is called to build a profile around the suspicious circumstances. The case hits close to home for Kate (Jennifer Love Hewitt), who is reminded of a family tragedy.

Riegel plays Shelley Hicks, the co-pilot's wife.

Shemar Moore Returns to 'The Young and the Restless' as Malcolm Winters: Watch a Sneak Peek Video


Criminal Minds actor Shemar Moore is set to make his big return to daytime television on The Young and the Restless, the show that launched his career.

Moore first made a name for himself as Malcolm Winters 19 years ago. Now, after a 10-year hiatus, his character is back in Genoa City to help his brother, Neil (Kristoff St. John), who has lost his sight.

Shemar Moore Back on 'The Young and the Restless' Set (Photo & Video)

Shemar Moore is returning for a visit to the role of Malcolm Winters in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless on September 10 and 11.

"There is not a 20-year career without Malcolm Winters," the Criminal Minds star told People. "This is my second family. I don't take any of it for granted. I've been wanting to do this since I left."

'Criminal Minds' Star Shemar Moore Returning to 'The Young and the Restless' as a Special Guest


For the first time in nearly a decade, Shemar Moore will return to The Young and the Restless for a special two-day guest appearance, Wednesday, September 10 and Thursday, September 11 (12:30-1:30 p.m. ET; 11:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon PT) on CBS.

Moore, who appeared as a series regular for 11 years (1994–2002 and 2004–2005), will reprise his role as the charismatic Malcolm Winters, a portrayal that earned him a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2000.

“I am excited about returning to The Young and the Restless as a special guest,” said Moore. "This is where I got my start and I am looking forward to reuniting with my soap opera family."

[SPOILER ALERT]

During his two-day return, Moore will reunite with longtime friend and co-star Kristoff St. John, who portrays his on-screen brother, Neil Winters. In the episodes, Malcolm returns to Genoa City after leaving town years before without a proper goodbye. Now, he’s back for an important visit with the Winters family to make amends and catch up on everything he’s missed.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Joins the Cast of 'Criminal Minds'

Jennifer Love Hewitt has joined the cast of Criminal Minds as a series regular. Her character will be introduced in the series' 10th season premiere, Wednesday, October 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Hewitt will play Kate Callahan, a seasoned undercover agent whose stellar work at the FBI has landed her a coveted position with the Behavioral Analysis Unit.
