Gabriel Coronel Joins the Cast of 'Reina de Corazones'

Following the success of key roles in productions like Relaciones Peligrosas and Marido en Alquiler, Gabriel Coronel will once again captivate audiences with his portrayal of Frank Marino, in Telemundo’s original production Reina de Corazones (Monday to Friday 8 p.m. ET/PT). The story unfolds around mystery, espionage, conspiracy, intrigue, crime and romance, the super-production is set in Las Vegas, Nevada - Sin City - where casinos and nightlife play a leading role in the action.

The multitalented actor’s new character is an agent of the secret service, a strong and well equipped man that can handle the most extreme situations. He is a risk taker, daring, proud and ambitious character who will give the story a unique twist. His hate and envy will drive him to seek the ultimate revenge against Javier (Eugenio Siller). Coronel shares the screen with stars Paola Nuñez, Eugenio Siller, Juan Soler, Catherine Siachoque and Laura Flores among others.

Recently, the young singer-songwritter visited Mexico, Honduras and the Dominican Republic, where he promoted his single "Yo Te Ame." Additionally, Coronel recently received two Premios Tu Mundo nominations in the Best Supporting Actor and What a Hunk! categories.

Telemundo Novela 'Reina de Corazones' Reaches Over 2.5 Million Viewers on Premiere Night

Telemundo's Reina de Corazones (Queen of Hearts) premiere reached a cumulative audience of 2,592,000 total viewers and 1,409,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen.

Starring Paola Núñez, Eugenio Siller, Juan Soler, Catherine Siachoque and Laura Flores, the original production averaged 1,708,000 total viewers and 879,000 adults 18-49, best performance for a Telemundo 8 p.m. novela premiere in seven years. The eagerly anticipated premiere ranked #1, regardless of language, in Miami among total viewers and adults 18 to 49 and #1 ranked Spanish-language program among adults 18 to 49 in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia. Additionally, Reina de Corazones ranked as the #1 most buzzed about series on a Hispanic Network and the #5 most buzzed about Drama series across all networks, regardless of language, according to Nielsen Social.

Set in Sin City – Las Vegas – Reina de Corazones is the story of a love that must overcome the barrier of memory, where the glamorous nightlife and casinos play a prominent role in a plot characterized by mysterious twists and turns, espionage, conspiracy, intrigue, crime and romance. The Telemundo Studios original production is written by Marcela Citterio (Aurora, Corazón Valiente).

Reina de Corazones was written by Marcela Citterio (Corazón Valiente) and features Aurelio Valcárcel, Executive Vice President of Telemundo Studios, as Executive Producer.
