On Thursday, November 27, Broadway's best shows will take to the streets of New York for special performances on the telecast of the annual spectacle (9 a.m.-noon in all time zones.)
Set for Thanksgiving Day are high-stepping numbers from this season's Tony Award-winning Best Musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder," Sting's "The Last Ship," "On the Town," "Side Show," and "Finding Neverland." The Broadway spectacle will also feature a special sneak preview performance from NBC's "Peter Pan Live!" which premieres December 4.

This year is no different, with Broadway vets including Idina Menzel ("If/Then," "Wicked," "Rent"), Sting ("3 Penny Opera") performing with the cast of "The Last Ship," and Nick Jonas ("How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," "Les Misérables") also joining the festivities.
Routinely one of the highest-viewed entertainment spectacles with more than 50 million viewers stemming from its original and encore presentations, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC will also feature a return of the Radio City Rockettes.

SERIAL SCOOP: You are a big Broadway star now.
MICHAEL PARK: [Laughs] No, I'm not. That is baloney. If there were B-List Broadway stars, I would be maybe a C-List Broadway star. Star is a subjective term, right?
SERIAL SCOOP: We consider you a star so just go with it.
MICHAEL PARK: I'll accept that.

Allison Williams Cast as Iconic Title Character in NBC's 'Peter Pan Live!'
"We couldn't be happier that Allison Williams is our Peter Pan," said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment. "She's a lovely rising star on the award-winning show Girls -- where she occasionally shows off her incredible vocal talent -- and we think she will bring the perfect blend of 'boyish' vulnerability and bravado to save the day against Christopher Walken's powerful Captain Hook."
"Allison Williams is a major find," said executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. "She will reinvent the iconic role of Peter Pan with her wit, her warmth, her dynamic flying and her wonderful musical abilities. The score will be sung beautifully and introduced to a whole new generation of families."
"I have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about three years old, so this is a dream come true," said Williams. "It's such an honor to be a part of this adventure, and I'm very excited to get to work with this extraordinarily talented team. And besides," added Williams, "what could go wrong in a live televised production with simultaneous flying, sword fighting and singing?"
