Jessica Nicole Webb Cast as Alex on 'The Young and the Restless'

Jessica Nicole Webb
Jessica Nicole Webb has been cast as Alex Dettmer on The Young and the Restless, according to her IMDB page.

The actress, who first airs on January 11, will be involved in Dylan's (Steve Burton) exit story. She is set to appear for at least five episodes.

On the Monday, January 2 episode of Y&R, Christine (Lauralee Bell) gave Dylan the task of bringing down a man named Luthor Fisk.

Christine told Dylan, "So you need to get close with his lieutenant. His name is Alex Dettmer. Okay, now, we don't know much about him. We do know he's the gatekeeper. So if you can get past him, you'll probably get a meeting with Fisk."

It seems that not only did Christine not know much about Dettmer, but she also didn't know the lieutenant's correct gender.

Webb's list of credits include roles in They Live Among Us, The Exorcist Files, and Futurestates

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.

Steve Burton on Dylan's 'The Young and the Restless' Daddy Reveal: "Do Not Miss These Episodes" (Spoilers)

This week on The Young and the Restless, Dylan (top right) is revealed
to be son of Paul Williams (bottom), and not Ian Ward (top left).
This week on The Young and the Restless, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) is revealed to be Dylan Mcavoy's (Steve Burton) father instead of Ian Ward (Ray Wise). How will this revelation impact the relationships of Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Paul and Christine (Lauralee Bell)? In an interview published today with TV Guide Magazine, Burton talks about Paul and Dylan being father and son, how this will shake up Y&R, working with  Braeden, and the real reason he left General Hospital and the role of Jason Morgan.

Burton on Dylan and Paul's new connection: "This affects everybody and that's when you know it's a great story. As we've already found out, Dylan and Paul have the same blood type and finally the news comes out that Paul is his dad, which is obviously a big shocker."

'The Young And The Restless' Promo: Paul Is Shot!

Will Paul survive on The Young and the Restless?

It doesn't look good for Paul Williams this week on The Young and The Restless. He has been shot and his loved ones are in agony. Poor Christine! (Lauralee Bell). Will he survive? Is this just a clifftwister that will lead to the discovery that Dylan (Steve Burton) is his son (only the long, lost child is ever a "match" when blood or an organ is needed)? Check out the latest Y&R promo below:
