When Avery (Rafferty) is assigned a Valentine's Day advice column for the local newspaper, she's less than thrilled. After a string of disappointing Valentine's days, she's all but given up on love. But when Avery takes her dog o the vet and meets the handsome veterinarian Brenden (Page), she throws herself into the assignment. A chance encounter with the newly single Brenden leads to a date and Avery starts thinking maybe this year will be different.
