Jen Lilley, Ryan Paevey and Linda Dano Star in 'A Little Daytime Drama' Tonight on Hallmark Channel

Jen Lilley (Days of our Lives) and Ryan Paevey (General Hospital) star in A Little Daytime Drama, a new, original movie premiering tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel as part of the network's annual "Summer Nights" programming event. Also starring is Another World legend and Emmy winner Linda Dano.

In A Little Daytime Drama, Maggie (Lilley) is the head writer on a daytime soap drama whose declining ratings leave it in danger of being cancelled. Alice (Dano), the creator and producer of the show, wants to retire and hopes to pass the baton to Maggie. Wanting to boost ratings and save the show, Alice plans to bring back fan-favorite actor Darin (Paevey)…who also happens to be Maggie’s ex-boyfriend. When Darin exited the show to star in an ill-fated play, their relationship ended on a sour note, so Maggie wrote out his character. Now, she must convince Darin to return. Will they be able to set aside their old, hurt feelings and work together to save the show, and their careers, in the process?

Production Begins on Hallmark Channel's 'Summer in the Vineyard'

Principal photography began this week in Okanagan Valley, British Columbia on the romantic comedy "Summer in the Vineyard." The film reunites Rachael Leigh Cook ("Perception") and Brendan Penny ("Motive") who reprise their roles as Frankie Baldwin and Nate DeLuca. The movie will premiere during Hallmark Channel's annual "Summer Nights" programming event, featuring four new, original movie premieres celebrating the fun and carefree days of summer.

The movie is the follow up to the successful "Autumn in the Vineyard," and continues the romance between Frankie Baldwin (Cook) and Nate DeLuca (Penny). As their first year at Sorrento Farms is coming to a close, they are looking forward to debuting their first vintage wine during the town's annual 'Summerfest' celebration. When the host winery for Summerfest pulls out at the last minute, Nate volunteers Sorrento to replace them, thinking it will be great publicity for their fledgling operation. Frankie, however, is more concerned with whether she can have their first Cabernet ready on time. The pressure is on them both to make a big splash for Sorrento at Summerfest to ensure the viability of their winery going forward. These two headstrong paramours are about to find out if you really can mix business with pleasure, because the course of love never does run smooth when grapes are involved. Then again, if they learn to work together, they just might find that love and wine are the perfect summer combination.

The movie is produced by Muse Entertainment in association with Head First Productions. Executive producers are Jim Head, Joel S. Rice, Michael Prupas, and Shawn Williamson. Jamie Goehring and Trevor McWhinney are the producers. Martin Wood directs from a script written by Julie Sherman Wolfe based on the book by Marina Adair.

Production has begun on "Sun, Sand & Romance," reuniting "Battlestar Galactica" castmates Tricia Helfer ("Lucifer," "Suits") and Paul Campbell ("Knightrider"). Shooting on location in Cancun, Mexico, the movie will premiere during Hallmark Channel's annual "Summer Nights" programming event, featuring four new, original movie premieres celebrating the fun of the season. "Duck Dynasty's" Sadie Robertson also stars.

Kate (Helfer), a driven accounting executive, heads to Cancun with her boyfriend Eric, an equally ambitious land development executive, for some much-needed rest and relaxation. But the getaway they agreed would be 90 percent romance and just 10 percent work becomes anything but that. Upon arrival, Eric learns a prominent real estate developer is a guest in their resort. Wanting to seize the opportunity for potential business, Eric chases this new venture and leaves Kate to her own devices time and again. Luckily, Shep (Campbell), the resort's activities director, is an old friend of Kate's from her camp counselor days and more than willing to help fill her solo hours with fun and adventure. As the old friends spend more time together and reconnect, Kate is reminded of dreams she used to have and finds herself wondering if it's time to change course.

Days of our Lives Star Deidre Hall (Dr. Marlena Evans) appeared on Hallmark’s Home & Family today, and revealed that love will be in the air this summer in Salem.

Hall teased, "We have got three love stories coming up this summer, mine among them. Um, I didn’t say wedding, did I say wedding? No, I didn’t say that. I don’t think I said wedding, but there are several weddings coming up this summer.”

Melrose Place alums Jack Wagner and Josie Bissett star in The Wedding March, premiering Saturday, June 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.

Olivia Parsons (Josie Bissett, The Secret Life of the American Teenager) is a fortysomething home stager and single mom to her 20-year old daughter, Grace. Though she favors work over romance, Olivia plans to marry Josh Johnson, a prominent - and career-obsessed - New York realtor.

At Grace's suggestion, Olivia agrees to have her wedding at a picturesque New England inn. When Olivia arrives at the inn, she's shocked to find it is owned and operated by her college sweetheart, former pop star Mick Turner (Jack Wagner, When Calls the Heart, The Bold and The Beautiful, General Hospital).

Having separated on bad terms over two decades ago, Olivia's chance reunion with Mick becomes even more awkward when her wedding band cancels and Mick's college-bound daughter, Julie, arranges for him to perform in their place.

As the wedding day approaches, Olivia and Mick initially lock horns but soon, feelings for each other begin to resurface. Meanwhile, Josh learns that Mick is considering selling the inn and jumps at the chance to become his realtor, focusing on breaking into the New England real estate market instead of his upcoming marriage.

When Grace and Julie notice sparks reigniting between their respective mom and dad, they subtly - and not so subtly - encourage the former couple to reunite. Though Olivia and Josh make a perfect team as business partners, Olivia starts to question whether they're romantically compatible - and wonders if romance might be more important to her than she originally thought.

Complications arise when the starlet falls for the student’s English teacher, Mr. Walsh. In the charming New England town of Nantucket, Dr. Kate Lawrence (Marcil), a celebrity relationship expert, shoots another dating advice video for her popular blog. Later, at a farmers market, Kate shops with her fiancé, Bryan, a handsome and perfectly polished businessman. There, Kate runs into Lucas Wright, a carpenter specializing in handcrafted furniture, who has had a crush on her since their high school days. Hoping to land a book deal, and urged by her aggressive show-business agent, Kate plans to publicly announce her engagement - and film the subsequent wedding arrangements for her blog - as a way to build her fanbase.

At an upscale event, as Kate prepares to share the news, Bryan shocks her by breaking up with her and calling off the wedding. Wanting to save her from humiliation and protect her public image, Lucas steps in and pretends to be Kate's fiancé. With her career at risk, Kate reluctantly moves forward with her agent's plan to let the public continue believing that Lucas - whom she considers just a friend - is her soon-to-be husband. Jason Thompson visited Home and Family and spoke about his new role as Billy Abbot on The Young and the Restless. He is the 12th actor to play the character.

He also shares the story of getting married to his wife Paloma in Mexico and the two celebrate their first year anniversary in April. He also reveals the news that the two are expecting their first child.

To prove to his father he can stay home and handle domestic life, Matthew interviews for a job as a nanny for a tough client -- Cass. Cass refuses to hire him as her 'manny,' but is forced to when she can't find anyone else to take the job. Matthew wins over the hearts of her kids -- and eventually the boss.
