ISA6 Countdown: Check out the Indie Series Awards Nominees for Best Special/Visual Effects

The nominations for the 6th Annual Indie Series Awards were announced on February 4, and the ceremony is now only 13 days away. Serial Scoop is celebrating the nominees leading up to the ISA6 ceremony on April 1st by showcasing their work both in front of and behind the camera.

In the Best Special/Visual Effects category, the nominees are Job Hunters (Cinesaurus), Ragged Isle (Richard DeCosta, Eric Anderson and Derek Kimball), Malice (Philip Cook), Milgram and the Fastwalkers (George Canzaniello), Standard Action (Rob Hunt) and Vanessa's Story (Jason Leaver). More Presenters Announced for 6th Annual Indie Series Awards

The Indie Series Network (ISN) announced additional presenters today for the upcoming 6th Annual Indie Series Awards (ISA6).

Presenters during the April 1st ceremony will include Ryan Bartley (L.A. Macabre), Sarah Brown (Beacon Hill), Richard Cutting (Milgram and the Fastwalkers, DeVanity), Patrika Darbo (The Bay), Mike Donis (Pete Winning and the Pirates), Megan Duffy (Dating Pains), Burt Grinstead (Burt Paxton), Richard Hatch (Pairings), Martha Madison (Winterthorne, The Bay), Susan Louise O'Connor (Wallflowers) and Alexandra Paul (Mentor).

They join previously announced presenters Anthony Anderson (Anacostia), Jillian Clare (Acting Dead), Ashli Dowling (We Are Angels), Andrea Evans (DeVanity), Lilly Melgar (The Bay), Mhairi Morrison (Feathers and Toast), Becky Kramer (Jewvangelist), Jen Lilley (Youthful Daze), Minae Noji (Love Midori), Alisha Spielmann (Producing Juliet), Jason Stuart (Mentor), Corsica Wilson (L.A. Macabre) and Colleen Zenk (Thurston).

Additional presenters will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The 6th Annual Indie Series Awards ceremony, hosted by Emmy Award-winning actor Eric Martsolf (Days of our Lives), will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.

Colleen Zenk Joins 'Milgram and the Fastwalkers' Season Two as Broadway Star Whit Wilkerson

Indie Series Award-nominated Milgram And The Fastwalkers has added three-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee Colleen Zenk to its cast for the show's upcoming second season. Fastwalkers, a noir soap opera about UFOs that launched in mid-2012 to over 2 million views on Koldcast TV, will return on December 2nd for Season 2.

Ms. Zenk, best known for her role as 32-year run as Barbara Ryan on the daytime drama As the World Turns, joins Fastwalkers in the role of famous Broadway star Whit Wilkerson.

"We are positively thrilled that Colleen is joining us on Fastwalkers," said executive producer and creator, Richard Cutting. "Colleen's strong skills at blending dramatic interpretation with a puckish comic sensibility, and her willingness to engage unusual yet authentic characters, make her the perfect choice for this role."
