Dee Wallace Joins 'General Hospital' as Pat Spencer

Dee Wallace
Dee Wallace has joined the cast of ABC soap opera General Hospital as Pat Spencer, the long-lost sister of Luke (Anthony Geary) and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman), according to Soap Opera Digest.

"When I got the first script, I thought, ‘Oh, my gosh, maybe it’s not too late for me to get out!’ I was scared!" Wallace told the magazine. "It was daunting and I thought, ‘My God, surely they are not going to do this in one day.’ But we did — and we did it well. I have to tell you, I would never have gotten through it without those wonderful people in that company. They just took me under their wing and showed me the ropes. From Tony to [Executive Producer] Frank Valentini to the casting director, Mark Teschner, everyone was absolutely lovely. I felt like part of the family within half an hour. It's just a beautiful company and it was a wonderful experience for me."

"It's such a brilliant choice," Zeman tells the magazine. "I'm a huge fan of her as an actress and as a teacher, as well. I absolutely love the woman!"
