'Better Call Saul' Season 1 Finale Delivers 5.1 Million Viewers in Live + 3 Ratings


The season one finale of Better Call Saul on April 6th delivered 5.1 million viewers, 3.1 million adults 18-49 and 3.3 million adults 25-54 in live+3 ratings, which include three days of time-shifted viewing. The season finale also led “Better Call Saul” to rank as the #1 scripted drama cable series on Twitter during primetime. “Better Call Saul” stands as the #1 new series on cable among all viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 this broadcast season.

In its first season of 10 episodes, Better Call Saul averaged 5.9 million viewers, 3.7 million adults 18-49 and 3.6 million adults 25-54 in live+3. Season one of Better Call Saul also drew strong TVE activity, generating more than 4.4 million TVE streams on AMC.com and nearly 11.5 million VOD transactions. Better Call Saul joins The Walking Dead and Talking Dead as the third AMC series this season to rank in the top 5 cable programs among viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 in live+3.

Junior Brown to Perform "Better Call Saul" Theme Song, Debuts This Sunday


Fans will get a special new look at Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul this weekend, with the debut of a music video for the song "Better Call Saul,"” co-written by the show's executive producers and showrunners Vince Gilligan & Peter Gould, and series composer Dave Porter (who also created the opening theme and score for Breaking Bad). The song is performed by country artist Junior Brown.

The music video for "Better Call Saul" will premiere on Sunday, October 5 at 7:15 p.m. ET/PT, during the final night of AMC's "Breaking Bad Binge," which began in August and concludes this Sunday night with the final six episodes of the Emmy Award-winning series (beginning at 5 p.m. ET/PT, through the series finale, "Felina," which begins airing at 11 p.m. ET/PT).

AMC Releases New Details and Photos from 'Better Call Saul'

AMC released today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour two new photos from the set of the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, currently in production in Albuquerque, NM. The photos feature series stars Bob Odenkirk and Michael McKean. In addition, the network confirmed the line-up of series regulars for Saul, set to premiere in early 2015. Joining Odenkirk are Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Wiseguy) as "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut, McKean (This is Spinal Tap) as Chuck, Rhea Seehorn (Franklin & Bash, House of Lies) as Kim, Patrick Fabian (Big Love, Grey's Anatomy) as Hamlin and Michael Mando (Orphan Black, The Killing) as Nacho - characters that will represent both legitimate and illegitimate sides of the law.

AMC Renews 'Better Call Saul' For Second Season, Releases First Photo

AMC today provided the first of several planned updates on the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, including the release of a first-look photo from the Albuquerque, New Mexico set where the widely-anticipated drama began production on its first 10-episode season earlier this month.

This update includes:

· Breaking Bad creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan is directing the Better Call Saul series premiere, and co-showrunning along with fellow Breaking Bad alum Peter Gould, creator of the Saul Goodman character.
