General Hospital star Anthony Geary won his record-breaking 8th Daytime Emmy Award on Sunday night.

The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards finished second on Sunday night among Series and Specials, according to the Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings. The ceremony, hosted by Tyra Banks, aired on Pop and generated a unique tweeting audience of 1.912 million, with over 10 million impressions, 18,000 unique authors, and 76,000 tweets. #DaytimeEmmys was trending on Twitter throughout the night.
