DirecTV Renews Scripted Drama 'Rogue' For 20 Episodes Split Over 2015 and 2016

DirecTV has renewed Rogue for 20 episodes, with production starting in January. The first 10 episodes will air in spring 2015 and the remaining 10 set for 2016.

The drama stars Thandie Newton as an undercover detective searching for her son's killer.

Rogue hails from creator Matthew Parkhill and producers Entertainment One in association with DirecTV. It recently wrapped its second season on the Audience Network — the same home that aired revived series Friday Night Lights and Damages.

"Viewers enthusiastically tuned-into season two and we look forward to sharing exciting new chapters in the lives of these richly drawn characters," said Chris Long, Senior VP Original Content and Production at DirecTV.
