NBC Universal Owned Television Stations and Comcast's XFINITY today announced the debut of two new and first-of-their-kind series, the scripted “mini novela” Las Princesas and its semi-scripted comedy spinoff, Off Script. The promotional spots for the “mini-novela” and comedy series will air on select NBC and Telemundo markets today, Monday, February 8 and the full, three-minute episodes will be available on XFINITY.com/Latino and XFINITY On Demand.
Each series will offer bilingual and bicultural viewers compelling story lines while highlighting the strength and flexibility of XFINITY’s X1 platform. Viewers will be able to watch promotional spots for Las Princesas and Off Script on their local Telemundo and NBC stations during primetime beginning tonight.
"Las Princesas and Off Script provide viewers with a first-of-its kind bicultural entertainment experience that is relevant and appealing to Hispanic and general market consumers, as well as being more accessible to those who are visually impaired,” said Jeanne Schroeder, Vice President, Sales Marketing and Partnership Activation, NBCUniversal Skycastle, a division of NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations. “It’s been a privilege to partner with XFINITY on a project of this scope and we’re excited for all our viewers to experience these fun and engaging new original series.”
