'Hindsight' Renewed For Second Season By VH1

Hindsight star Laura Ramsey.
VH1 has picked up a second season of the critically acclaimed scripted series Hindsight. The first season finale aired on VH1 March 11th. Hindsight stars Laura Ramsey as Becca, who, on the eve of her second wedding in 2015, is having misgivings about her life, her career, and her husband-to-be, Andy (Nick Clifford). Suddenly, she is transported back in time twenty years to the morning of her first wedding day in 1995, when she's about to marry Sean (Craig Horner), a bad-boy artist who is all wrong for her. Becca has the opportunity to fix all of her mistakes and make the 'right' decisions the second time around - and her first move is to reconnect with her former best friend Lolly (Sarah Goldberg), with whom she had a falling out many years ago. But soon enough, Becca discovers there's no sure-fire way to make the right choices in life - even knowing everything she thinks she knows now. One decision may have the power to drastically alter not just Becca's future but the future of the people she loves the most.

"Our viewers have fallen in love with Hindsight," said Susan Levison, EVP, Original Programming and Production, VH1. "From the characters and storytelling to the iconic music and fashion of the 90's, this is a quintessential VH1 show and we can't wait to see what Becca will do next. Congratulations to the cast and creative team behind this signature series."

Hindsight, is the latest project driving VH1's successful foray into the scripted genre. The series comes on the heels of the network's original movie Drumline: A New Beat, which was the #1 non-sports telecast on cable of the night of its premiere on October 27th. VH1's hit scripted series Hit The Floor recently wrapped its second season as the number one ad-supported cable scripted drama among women 18-49, and is currently in production for season 3.

Hindsight is created by Emily Fox (Jane By Design), who also serves as executive producer along with John A. Norris (One Tree Hill). Carl Beverly and Sarah Timberman serve as executive producers for Timberman/Beverly (Masters Of Sex, Justified, Elementary, Odd Couple). Maggie Malina (Hit The Floor, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story) also serves as executive producer as does Alexander A. Motlagh for POPfilms (CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, Finding Carter). Susan Levison and Jill Holmes are executive producers for VH1.
