In the latest episode of Serial Scoop Now (2.15), host Michael Taylor Gray hit the red carpet of the 8th Annual Indie Series Awards on April 5 at The Colony Theatre in Burbank, California. MTG chatted with Melissa Archer (Viral, The Bay); Matthew Kreiner, Sean-Michael Bowles and Dan Stern (Lemmings); Liz Days, Andrew Nielson and David Lavine (Plant: The Second Coming); Andre Boyer (My So-Called Co-Star Life); Todd Flaherty (Undetectable); Leon Cheo and Josh Crowe (People Like Us); Keriann Correia and Marzy Hart (Working on It); and Anthony Anderson (Anacostia).

Serial Scoop Now spoke with Anacostia creator and star Anthony Anderson at the inaugural Brooklyn Web Fest on Friday, October 9, along with Anacostia's Marion Akpan (who plays Nancy) and Melan Perez (Salina).

The Indie Series Award winning drama, which won its first Emmy earlier this year, returns later this fall with guest star Elizabeth Hubbard (The Doctors, As the World Turns).

The nominations for the 6th Annual Indie Series Awards were announced on February 4, and the ceremony is now only 13 days away. Serial Scoop is celebrating the nominees leading up to the ISA6 ceremony on April 1st by showcasing their work both in front of and behind the camera.
