Billy Miller joining General Hospital?

According to a tweet by TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan, Emmy winner Billy Miller is joining the cast of ABC soap opera General Hospital.

Logan tweeted: "Billy Miller. General Hospital. Done deal? This is what I'm hearing. #GH"

But who would Miller play on GH? A recast Jason Morgan (last played by current Y&R actor Steve Burton)? Someone new?

Miller left the role of Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless in January, presumably to take his shot at primetime and film roles. Before playing Billy on Y&R from 2008-2014, Miller spent a year as Richie Novak on All My Children.

Miller won Emmys for his Y&R work in 2010 and 2013 and is nominated again this year.

Another former Y&R Emmy winner, Micheelle Stafford, recently joined the GH cast as Nina Clay.

UPDATE (September 2, 2014):
General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini has confirmed that Billy Miller is joining the cast as Jason Morgan.
