TV One Movie 'A Royal Family Christmas' Premieres Tonight, Stars Vivica A. Fox, Debbi Morgan & Tichina Arnold

A Royal Family Christmas premieres December 5 on TV One.
Holiday movie A Royal Family Christmas premieres on Saturday, December 5 at 8 p.m. ET on TV One. The film stars Vivica A. Fox (Generations), Debbi Morgan (All My Children) and Tichina Arnold (Ryan's Hope).

In the sequel to A Royal Family Holiday, the children Phillip "Flip" Royal (Romeo Miller), a good-looking spiritual guru; Austin Royal (Eric Myrick III) a Washington, D.C. community activist running for Congress; Kelsey Royal (Chelsea Tavares) a fashion designer's gopher; and Pamela Royal (Tequilla Whitfield) a hair and nail salon owner join forces to attempt to reunite their parents in time for Christmas. They try every trick in the book - including "playing nice" and setting aside old sibling rivalries - only to learn their mom and dad are enjoying "the single life." Their plan also goes awry as getting their parents back together ends up taking a back seat to their own personal and professional drama.

The movie follows an older married couple who pretend to be splitting up in order to lure their busy children home for Thanksgiving.

TV One Movie 'Welcome to the Family' Premieres September 26, Stars Valarie Pettiford & Telma Hopkins

TV One explores what happens when traditional family values collide with the modern-day digital age in its latest original movie Welcome to the Family premiering on Saturday, September 26 at 8 p.m. ET. Reuniting Half & Half co-stars Valarie Pettiford (Born Again Virgin, One Life to Live, Another World) and Telma Hopkins (Are We There Yet?, Gimme a Break), the film also stars Kali Hawk, B.J. Britt, James Black, Chelsea Tavares, Glenn Plummer and Brooklyn McLinn.

Welcome to the Family centers on Stella, an internet producer (Kali Hawk), who has to learn how to balance her personal and professional lives. She utilizes her family reunion to not only reveal her engagement to fiancée Quinton (B.J. Britt), but also to prove she can host her own web series. Stella is blinded by her own ambition, as each family member's antics and escapades hit the World Wide Web. Caught up in the world of media mania and surrounded by a crazy cast of relatives, Stella learns that her fiancée Quinton is her cousin. Captured by cameras for the world to see, the couple's relationship is thrown into turmoil as Stella's web series turns into a social media hit.

"Welcome to the Family is a humorous take on real-life scenarios of today's reality-TV-nation and will provide viewers with relatable situations and laugh-out-loud family moments," said D'Angela Proctor, TV One's SVP of original programming and production. TV One Movie 'Runaway Island' Premieres Tonight, Stars Lorraine Toussaint, Thomas Q. Jones, Aisha Hinds

TV One original movie, Runaway Island premieres Saturday, July 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The film stars Lorraine Toussaint (Orange Is the New Black), Thomas Q. Jones (Being Mary Jane) and Aisha Hinds (Star Trek Into Darkness).

Written by Christopher Brandt, the 2014 American Black Film Festival screenplay competition winner, Runaway Island offers viewers a unique story about a group of troubled strangers looking to escape their woes and end up sharing a transformational experience on an island steeped in African American heritage and culture.

Runaway Island is a story about a group of troubled people finding refuge at Isle du Soleil, a secluded 1700s Gullah Sea Island resort run by a unique interracial couple, Lara Cook-Nordholm (Hinds) and Erick Nordholm (Branton Box, The Purge: Anarchy). The couple's slow-paced, holistic lifestyle forces the island's visitors to examine the strengths and weaknesses of their relationships, along with their own insecurities, while taking stock of their lives and renewing their love for one another.

A heartwarming story about the importance of family in times of hardship, the two-hour original film starring McKinley Freeman (Hit The Floor), Michael Rainey Jr. (Power) and Robinne Lee (Being Mary Jane), tells the story of a young boy's struggle to accept his stepfather after the untimely and tragic death of his mother.

In addition to the principals, the star-studded cast also includes viewer favorites Kandi Burruss (R&B Singer and The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member), Durrell "Tank" Babbs (R&B singer) Ella Joyce (Roc, Belle's), Golden Brooks (Hollywood Divas, Girlfriends), Aloma Wright (Days of our Lives) and Rolonda Watts (Curious George).

In Second Chance Christmas, Maisie (Lee) and her 13-year-old son Lawrence (Rainey Jr.) form a small, yet tight-knit family unit. Lawrence knows his mother doesn’t have the easiest life as a single mother, but it makes him happy simply to know that she is there for him. His prayers for his mother to find happiness are answered when Malcolm (Freeman) marries Maisie. Yet ironically, Lawrence is indifferent to Malcolm and is certainly not afraid to wear his feelings on his sleeve. However, when a tragic car accident takes Maisie's life, Lawrence and Malcolm must learn to lean on one other and get by with an important piece of their lives missing.

'The Fright Night Files' Horror Trilogy Airs October 18, Stars Victoria Rowell, Harry Lennix, Eva Marcille, Sean Blakemore, Lynn Whitfield, Elise Neal, Bokeem Woodbine & Davetta Sherwood

The Friday Night Files trilogy premieres October 18 on TV One.
TV One will air an anthology of three short films about deadly romance with the premiere of The Fright Night Files on October 18 at 8 p.m. ET. The horror trilogy marks the first scripted production for Cathy Hughes, Founder and Chairperson of Radio One Inc., and production partner Susan Banks, who together have helmed nearly 50 high profile interviews for the network. Joining forces with award-winning director Russ Parr of Up To Parr Productions they usher in another first – the network’s first-ever horror themed scripted film.

The star-studded cast includes Elise Neal (Hollywood Divas, The Hughleys), Lynn Whitfield (Eve's Bayou), Victoria Rowell (The Young and The Restless), Harry Lennix (The Blacklist), Eva Marcille (The Young and The Restless), Bokeem Woodbine (Ray), Sean Blakemore (General Hospital), Davetta Sherwood (The Young and The Restless) and Karrueche Tran. Whitfield, in her role as Madame Mabry, a Jamaican, voodoo expert of the Supernatural, will walk viewers through the evening of chilling relationship catastrophes.
