'General Hospital' Alum Barbara Tarbuck Dead at 74

General Hospital alum Barbara Tarbuck, who began playing Lady Jane Jacks, Jax's (Ingo Rademacher) mother in 1996, passed away on December 27 at the age of 74. She last appeared on GH in 2010.

Trained on a Fulbright Grant to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Barbara's New York theatre work included "Landscape & Silence" by Harold Pinter, "Water Engine" by David Mamet, Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and "Broadway Bound", Joseph Chaikin's production of "America Hurrah!", and "Enter The Night" by Marie Irene Fornes.

Ingo Rademacher Returns to 'General Hospital'

Ingo Rademacher, who originated the role of Jasper “Jax” Jacks in 1996, is returning to General Hospital.

The actor, who last returned to the role in July, announced his return on Instagram.

Ingo Rademacher Returns to 'General Hospital'

Ingo Rademacher, who originated the role of Jasper “Jax” Jacks in 1996, is set to return to General Hospital on a recurring basis.

TVline confirms that the Jax will first return to Port Charles on July 29.

 Reportedly, Jax will find himself involved with ex-wife Carly (Laura Wright), and her search to find out who donated the mystery kidney to save their daughter Josslyn's (Eden McCoy) life.
