Yes—you heard it right. The night of nights for indie creators, actors and storytellers has dropped and it’s ready for your couch, your popcorn and your applause.

Held at the sold-out Colony Theatre, Burbank (yes-really, sold-out) and hosted by Emmy winner Patrika Darbo (most famously ex-Nancy on Days of Our Lives), this event pulls back the curtain on the future of screen storytelling.

Top Winners Who Stole The Spotlight

  • Kombucha Cure took home Best Drama Series plus six awards, including Best Directing (Drama), Best Supporting Actress (Drama) Denise Boutte, Best Guest Performer Drama Jennifer Bassey, cinematography and production design.
  • Keith Vs. walked off with Best Comedy Series and seven wins overall—featuring Best Lead Actor (Comedy) Keith Powell, Best Supporting Actress Comedy Jill Knox, Best Guest Performer Comedy Ben Feldman, Ensemble, Directing and Writing (Comedy) all in the mix.
  • And for fans of storytelling purely through sound, The Case Within repped the audio world, winning Best Audio Fiction Series (plus three more trophies) including Best Lead Actor (Audio Fiction) Eric Martsolf and Best Original Score.

This isn’t just another awards link. It’s a showcase of boundary-pushing talent, the kind of stuff that used to happen in big-budget studios—and now it’s in independents’ hands. From mood-setting visuals to razor-sharp dialogue and daring experiments, this year’s show proves the industry doesn’t have to wait for permission anymore.

So whether you’re a creator, fan or just someone who loves a good story—don’t miss this one.

Get watching. Stand up. Cheer loud. The indie series revolution lives here.
