Final Air Date Set for John Paul Lavoisier on 'Days of our Lives'

John Paul Lavoisier is out as Philip Kiriakis on Days of our Lives. The latest issue of Soap Opera Digest reveals that Lavoisier will make his final appearance on December 20.

Lavoisier didn't have it easy taking over from popular actor Jay Kenneth Johnson in the role, he but performed admirably considering the circumstances.

While his Philip didn't receive much airtime or focus, he managed to create great chemistry with two of his co-stars, Martha Madison (Belle) and Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe). He will be missed.

Lavoisier is best known for his long running role of Rex Balsom on One Life to Live, a role he played from 2002-2012.

His other credits include roles in Beacon Hill, Major Crimes, Anger Management, and the delightful Winterthorne

The actor will next be seen in Ladies of the Lake.
