The Young and the Restless recently put out a casting call for a sexy, African-American actor in his early 30s to play Ryder.

Ryder is described as a gifted photographer with swagger. The recurring role begins taping January 6.

Actor Bobby Neely recently tested for the role of Ryder, and his audition for the role was released on Vimeo.

Ryder is a photographer, who works for Brash & Sassy. He shares a past a past with Lily (Christel Khalil).

 Ryder can't believe that Lily is married with kids, and notes that she doesn't look like a soccer mom. 

Ryder and Lily talk about the past, but Lily mentions she is in a time crunch. It is Valentine's Day, and she would like to get out for an anniversary dinner with Cane.
