Whipclip Teams Up with Pop to Offer Fans Easy Access to Create and Share Clips


Whipclip, the free mobile app that allows fans to legally create and share their own video clips of television shows and music videos, and Pop, the television destination that celebrates the fun of being a fan, will team up to offer fans the seamless ability to create and share video clips from Pop’s original programming.

The partnership kicks off this Sunday, April 26 with: The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards hosted by Tyra Banks, airing live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT; and Queens of Drama, a reality series packed with girl power and fan-favorite soap stars Lindsay Hartley, Crystal Hunt, Vanessa Marcil, Chrystee Pharris and Hunter Tylo with appearances by Donna Mills and Joan Collins series, premiering immediately following the Daytime Emmy Awards at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Using Whipclip, viewers can create customized clips of their favorite moments from both shows and share them instantly on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and via email and SMS.

Sing It On: Premiering Wednesday, May 13 at a special time of 10 p.m. ET/PT, this docu-series, inspired by Pitch Perfect and executive produced by John Legend’s Get Lifted and the co-producers of American Idol, captures the real life stories, high stakes and personal triumphs of the country’s top collegiate a cappella teams as they compete to win the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella.

Schitt's Creek: With new episodes airing every Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Schitt's Creek is a scripted comedy series starring Emmy Award winners Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara and Chris Elliott, along with Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy.

Impress Me: With new episodes airing every Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, Impress Me centers on two celebrity impressionists Ross Marquand and Jim Meskimen trying to become dramatic actors which results in total chaos.

Unusually Thicke: Retuning to Pop on Wednesday, April 29 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, this a reality sitcom stars the real-life modern family—Alan Thicke, along with his sassy wife Tanya and know-it-all son Carter.

Through Whipclip's existing collaborations with leading television networks ABC, CBS, FOX, Comedy Central, VH1, A&E and Lifetime, Bloomberg, OWN and truTV, as well as major music companies Universal Music Group and Sony Music, users can clip live TV as well as search for specific moments within past episodes and share them with friends enabling them to discover television and music in a new way.

Whipclip was founded by Richard Rosenblatt and Ori Birnbaum in 2014.
