The Bravermans Face an Uncertain Road on 'Parenthood' Tonight

The final season of Parenthood continues tonight.

The sixth and final season of NBC primetime serial Parenthood continues on Thursday, October 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

In the episode, titled "The Waiting Room," Camille (Bonnie Bedelia) and the kids anxiously await news about Zeek (Craig T. Nelson). Julia (Erika Christensen) confronts Joel (Sam Jaeger) about their relationship status. Amber (Mae Whitman) decides to face her future and Drew (Miles Heizer) supports her. Sarah (Lauren Graham) tries to bond with Ruby (Courtney Grosbeck) and finds herself in a sticky blended family situation. When the Luncheonette gets some unfortunate news, work pressures mount atop all the family stress, and Adam (Peter Krause) is in worst-case-scenario mode. Emotionally wracked Crosby (Dax Shepard) seeks an escape.

In the sneak peek video below, Amber inspires Zeek with the first ultrasound of her baby.

Also starring Craig T. Nelson, Lauren Graham, Joy Bryant, Betsy Brandt, Matt Lauria and Ray Romano.

Coming up in Episode 9 (spoiler alert), Jason Ritter will reprise his character, Mark Cyr, a former lover of one Sarah Braverman.

That was actor Guy Wilson's first line in his debut as the new Will Horton on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Well, believe it! Over the years many relative unknown thespians, who later turned out to be excellent actors, even Emmy winners, made their daytime soap opera debuts and looked like stiffs. This is a different medium, with a lot of dialogue to memorize, where getting it right on the first take is desired. It's understandable if a new actor in a daytime drama takes not just one, but several episodes to settle in. It's happened time and again so I give them a pass. Luckily, Wilson doesn't need one. He performed like a seasoned pro on Day One.
