#CBSInstagramTakeover Week Kicks off October 27

CBS stars from all 21 primetime entertainment series will get social when they take fans behind the scenes of their favorite television shows during the week-long #CBSInstagramTakeover on Monday, October 27 - Sunday, November 2. All week, stars and producers will post exclusive photos and videos from set on the day their series air. The star(s) who will take over their show account will be revealed via their series’ Instagram handle the morning of their takeover. In addition to Instagram, fans can follow along on the series’ Facebook pages and CBS.com.

“One of the best ways for the audience to experience a show is through the eyes of its stars,” said Chris Ender, Executive Vice President, Communications, CBS. “This Instagram campaign captures a week of CBS primetime as artists release photos and videos from the sets, just for the fans.”

The #CBSInstagramTakeover event marks the first time a broadcast network has launched a week-long Instagram takeover. This will be CBS’s eighth week-long social media event; the first was #CBSTweetWeek, held in April 2011.

First Thoughts on Guy Wilson as the New Will Horton on DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Guy Wilson debuted as the new Will Horton on DAYS OF OUR LIVES on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. "You're not gonna believe this!" That was actor Guy Wilson's first line in his debut as the new Will Horton on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Well, believe it! Over the years many relative unknown thespians, who later turned out to be excellent actors, even Emmy winners, made their daytime soap opera debuts and looked like stiffs. This is a different medium, with a lot of dialogue to memorize, where getting it right on the first take is desired. It's understandable if a new actor in a daytime drama takes not just one, but several episodes to settle in. It's happened time and again so I give them a pass. Luckily, Wilson doesn't need one. He performed like a seasoned pro on Day One.
