Michael Muhney Says He's Not Returning to 'The Young and the Restless', But Was That Even An Option?

Former The Young and the Restless actor Michael Muhney tweeted on Wednesday that he would not be returning to the soap he was fired from last fall. Y&R has reportedly been trying to cast a new Adam Newman for several months now.

According to a tweet by TV Guide Magazine soap guru Michael Logan, Muhney's return was never even on the table.

Believe what you want @GHLover10 but MM did not get "very close" to reclaiming his #YR role. There were no negotiations whatsoever.
