UniMás Reports Week-to-Week Audience Increases Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of May 26, 2014 to June 1, 2014
· UniMás reported week-to-week audience increases among Total Viewers 2+ (+18%), Adults 18-49 (+20%) and Adults 18-34 (+41%) on Monday night. Contributing to the growth was “La Viuda Negra,” (9:30-11:00 p.m.) which attracted more viewers than the previous Monday episode (10-11 p.m.) among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 1,204,000), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 634,000) and Adults 18-34 (+15% to 375,000).
· On Tuesday night, UniMás registered double digit percentage gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+32%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and Adults 18-34 (+22%) over the prior Tuesday thanks to its prime time line-up which featured a movie followed by “La Viuda Negra.” “Cineplex: Until Death” delivered 626,000 Total Viewers 2+, 300,000 Adults 18-49 and 124,000 Adults 18-34. Following at 10 p.m., “La Viuda Negra” averaged 1,184,000 Total Viewers 2+, 641,000 Adults 18-49, and 370,000 Adults 18-34.
· On Wednesday night, UniMás aired a special half-hour “La Viuda Negra” episode (7:58-8:28 p.m.) and an original episode of the series (8:28-9:25 p.m.) followed by an International Friendly match between the Mexican National team versus Israel (9:25 p.m.-11:36 p.m.) in which Mexico won by a score of 3 to 0. Wednesday-to-Wednesday, UniMás posted triple-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+128% to 1,743,000), Adults 18-49 (+185% to 1,067,000), and Adults 18-34 (+167%, to 598,000).
* The game attracted 2.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 Million Adults 18-49 and 957,000 Adults 18-34.
* UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network, surpassing Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (+23% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+30% Adv.).
* UniMás was the #3 Broadcast network and 4th overall for the night (8-11 p.m.) among Adults 18-34 and #7 overall among Adults 18-49.
· In the current 2013/2014 season, UniMás reported primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+15%) and Adults 18-49 (+14%), and Adults 18-34 (+11%) over the comparable weeks in the 2012/2013 season.
· Versus the same week a year ago (05/27/13-06/02/13), UniMás reported growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+16%), Adults 18-49 (+18%), and Adults 18-34 (+22%).
· UniMás, on average, more than doubled the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+152%), Adults 18-49 (+233%) and Adults 18-34 (+344%).
· UniMás attracted 828,000 Total Viewers 2+, 453,000 Adults 18-49, and 231,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime with week-to-week increases of +14%, +17%, and +22%, respectively.
