'All My Children' Actress Lee Chamberlin Passes Away at age 76

Lee Chamberlin
Former All My Children and Loving actress Lee Chamberlin died on May 25 after a battle with cancer. She was 76. Below is a list of her credits.

Thank you so much for this post on my mother Lee. "Objects in the Mirror..Are Closer Than They Seem" produced at Kitchen Theatre Company's Counter Culture series Feb. 10 - 14, 2010 in Ithaca, NY was her one woman show that she wrote directed by Rachel Lampert was the last stage production she appeared in. In 2011 she founded Lee Chamberlin's Playwrihjts Inn Project, Inc a non profit established to nurture African American playwrights.

AWESOME! Thus far one of the best articles written. I am so PROUD of you "Lee"! See, there I FINALLY called her "Lee" and NOT "Alverta"! :D You are definitely a mentor to so MANY folk. Who knew that a young girl from 143rd Street (Sugar Hill) would become so famous and accomplished so much. It still has NOT sunk in that you are no longer in our lives, only when I see these articles do I truly realize it IS true! Then I become sad! :'(
